This Polish episode has been a total hit here in Poland for the past week. This Pole speaks in an extremely obscene manner like modern tattooed gym-bro. Of course, historically this is nonsense... Polish and Czech at the time sounded like two twin dialects of the same language. In the Renaissance, every educated Pole spoke Czech because of the popular studies in Prague at the time. And today we are two nations that live completely side by side and almost completely without knowing each other. And yes - Czech is the funniest language in the world for Poles :))

@@joew9690 Prof. Teresa Orłoś w wydanej w 1993r. w Krakowie pracy pt. Do dobrego tonu należało wtrącanie do rozmowy wyrazów czeskich. W przedmowie do wydanej w roku 1574 "Postylli domowej" wyraził on pogląd, że języki czeski i polski stanowią jedynie dialekty wspólnej mowy.

A Pole and a Czech will understand each other sooner without context than with a Ukrainian or a Russian, most Czech words occur or have occurred in Polish, so it is not so difficult for us to communicate, only some words are the same, but they mean something completely different, which makes it seem to us that we are somehow very different. If a Czech has had some contact with the Polish language, and a Pole with the Czech language, he will have no problem communicating It is enough to skillfully choose words instead of complex ones and replace them with simpler ones.

I live on the Czech-Polish border, so I understand Polish and, as you said, it will be really different with the Czech dubbing, since the Czech and Polish languages are of Slavic origin and have a lot of similar meanings.

I'm from the Czech Republic and tbh, apart from a few curse words, I can't understand Polish at all :D maybe when it's spoken reaaally slowly, I can pick up a few words, but when it's spoken at full speed, I'm lost

Beauty, really beautiful. I can't wait to play this game. It looks amazing and there will obviously be a lot of options. Oh god, I can't wait to break out of jail. Otherwise, yes, there is no problem for Czechs and Poles to understand each other. Sometimes it takes a while to listen before one begins to catch the other's words. But with a little listening, it is possible. I watched Polish TV for a while, and over time I was able to understand the vast majority of what they were saying. Otherwise the video was great, you are amazing and I thank you.

What a real pleasure, to see that a woman loves this game that was highly classified by some people, but in medieval RPG, it is one of the best I have played, along perhaps with gredfall (although the latter is more fantasy in its lore but it fulfills with the medieval in part) greetings and new follow :)

It's so nice to see someone who loves these games as much as I do, I saw myself in the emotions you expressed and also to see that a girl appreciates games like this, in the terrible but adventurous Middle Ages! Many of those I know only think about handbags, shoes and makeup! I still play the first one today, and if only it still had stories and challenges to face I wouldn't stop playing it! Waiting February will be really hard.. I hope to see you again while you make a video of yourself playing it! I buy it today on Steam, even though I promised myself that I would never pre-order any more games, but I found the game I loved in this gameplay, so I decided to get it and support the work of Warhorse! I always advise against pre-purchasing or buying to d1, but I love this game too much, so don't do it unless you're as passionate as I am and wait until after the release to see if the game is for you. Only don't expect Souls-style combat, God forbid! Many have criticized the combat system of the first game, just because they are used to Souls, luckily those at Warhorse have conceived a satisfying and fun progression and simulation system, not mechanical and repetitive (dodge and hit) like in to the Souls! Bye and see you!

Polish and Czech languages were close to each other in the past, but nowdays they have more differences. Probably we have more common things with Slovaks in the matter of language. Also Polish people make fun of Czech languege and vice versa :D We are like Canada and USA in that matter XD That Polish lines were funny as hell with a lot of curse words. Need to play KD I, because it looks like kinda fun game XD

Ofc as Czechs we understood what the Pole was saying just with a lot of laughter which Poles have too when hearing us speak, also it is kinda funny cuz sometimes the words are the same but mean completely different things so we could agree upon something both think that we understood each other and then wonder what the hell is the other one doing, but for you to understand it is just like English and Dutch
