Hey Fen! I may be able to provide insight as to why Adam chose katars, though it is pure speculation! Adam is on record as saying he is a fan of Ragnarok Online (something I had suspicions of for numerous reasons such as the Old Blue Box from Lion God and Storm Knights being associated with Atnas/Christmas among other things). Katars are a prolific weapon type in that game and they have been pervasive in my own subconscious because of that. Adam is likely the same case--subconciously inspired by his love of RO and it's influence on his idea of what weapons can be.

If you're wandering where Adam got the idea of Katars, in vol.9 of Berserk Guts fights a warrior from Silat at a tournament (in the "Arms Tournament chapter) who uses Katars (also chakrams in the next chapter).

Hey Fen quick question, does using the cat claw arrow bypass the cumbersome rule on the bow for its attack?

I had some questions about this and checked: so basically, the arrow is a separate weapon. You need to have a bow present, but otherwise the *only* thing the arrow weapon inherits from the bow weapon is its range. This means, yes, arrows aren't affected by the cumbersome drawback, which sounds quite nice. It also means that arrows can't benefit from the Aim ability on the catgut bow, which I'm a lot less jazzed about. There is an expansion arrow (in slenderman) that is cumbersome - other arrows are not.

Frenzy won't let you use FA or Survival. Thats y I think its just bad.
