I can see why most people run too “tickle your ear”type of preachers it’s makes you feel good which results in no change But when you speak the true word of God you will feel convicted, uncomfortable and and maybe angry but you will then have a choice either to run from the truth or let the holy father transform your life for all eternity! Jesus! 😭😭😭 I have been TORMENTED since my friend who was an athiest died in his sleep 2 months ago. I witnessed to him, he would never debate me, he would listen, but he would tell me when he didn't agree. And overtime he would ask me questions, seeming more curious. It was amazing the respect he showed me tho. He would argue and mock and debate others, but they would do the same to him, yet claiming to be Christians. He wanted absolutely nothing to do w christians, but maybe since him and I were friends in high-school, or maybe bc I showed him love and compassion instead of how other believers had treated him, maybe that is why he actually spoke to me and respected me. I would dream of him often, I would wake up and pray for him, he was on my mind and my heart literally every day, I prayed for his soul to be saved almost daily. BUT... I did not obey God when I knew I needed to invite him to church. I am am so angry at myself for thinking I should just wait and invite him later,, thinking I could wait for a better opportunity. I can only hope that he called out to God before his last breath,, but he died in his sleep. So again, I am tormented. PLEASE! I BEG YOU! PRAY FOR THOSE THAT GOD HAS PUT ON YOUR HEART. OBEY THE LORD! OBEY, OBEY, OBEY! 😭 I have lost many friends and loved ones, and some in very tragic ways, but my friends death,, that was and still is the deepest, most brutal pain,, I have EVER felt. I was physically sick. I was throwing up. I yelled and screamed, as if a mother had lost her child. I cried a cry I had never cried before. I even screamed and cursed God. 😭💔 I don't understand why God put him on my heart, and had reunited us after 17 years, allowing me to witness to him for about a year and a half, just to allow him to die while still claiming to be an athiest. One thing I will never forget was just a couple of months before he passed in one conversation we had, he said to me, "Who knows, maybe one day you will help convert me back to Christ.." I remember being so excited, so SURE, telling my mom, "Mom! He is so close! So, so close! I just know he's almost there! He will have a powerful testimony and it will lead others to Christ!" And he died just a couple of months later. I didn't invite him to church bc I was afraid it would completely push him away. I hate that I can't go back and do things differently. Please, obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I was not ashamed, but I was not obedient. I pray anyone reading this will take this very seriously. 🙏
