Data Battles, especially in KH3 are the canon power levels of the antagonists. So you could say that this is the canon power level of Sora (just earlier).

I honestly love to use photon debugger on master form, the lightning spell is a mobility for you, with the shock charms and photon to buff this will make for some insane wave clear. My favorite form is Master form because of the lightning cartwheels

​@@boyishdude1234The scaling is actually to keep the game fun. If you're going into an area at level 1 or 99 it'll compress the damage range to something that allows for a good fight. Although yes I feel like a damage ceiling is a bit dumb

@@cking1340 Not every person finds the idea of having their stats stop functioning against the superbosses after ~80 each fun and enjoyable, so how can you say that the damage ceiling exists to make the game more enjoyable to play? This also isn't how the scaling works. At "Level 1" the player's base stats are automatically increased in the background to amounts that often far exceed what a Level 1 player would naturally be able to acquire with equipment, and the system is based on the battle level of the area. In a regular playthrough where you're leveling up as intended each boss fight has an individualized damage ceiling that prevents the player's stats from functioning beyond specific thresholds in order to force the boss to "provide a challenge" (basically it punishes players for grinding, which makes intentionally grinding or overleveling pointless). No matter how you slice it this is just bad game design. Players in RPGs should be rewarded for going out of their way to get extremely high stats, and Level 1 players shouldn't have Base Level 50 stats when fighting a superboss.

Feels nice coming back to this game franchise and beating it from the very start. I 100% completed KH1 (except that red trinity in halloweentown OGs know), rechain of memories both sora and riku, 358/2 days (sidenote I have a video where i fell thru the map also on halloweentown) currently working on 100% KH2 now. No different if you lose your memory and learn a different tool kits of skills. 2 Sora didn't learn most of these moves In Kh1. Stop spreading False information. This mod is so cool, shame I can't get it to work. When I use it, all my rewards become ethers but I lose the ability option in the menu so I can't even look at them. I also remain level one with nothing unlocked.

Alot of OP in KH2 but at the same time I think thats what made it an exciting game because there were so many moments for me that were "we're up to this already? I'm not strong enough". Of course the game is easy but they did a good job with the learning curve.
