This was SO stupid because they cut this part out for the DLC. They couldn't cut this scene better for those of us who didn't get the DLC? It's such a lazy cash grab. They mad the entire game and then chopped off parts to sell later for more money and we got this, a scene that weirdly just cuts off like that. I got this game day 1 and when I saw that, I legit thought it was a bug or something that cut the scene off too quickly. It wasn't until a few months later when the DLC was released that I saw the rest of the scene and figured it was intentional cut.

Hn sensing one of the themes of this. Sora's feeling undermined by his first loss. Dream Drop Distance, for whatever else it was, was his first major loss, and he feels damn shamed about it. Also depowered, and no one is letting him forget it. Which I can totally see him getting in trouble now. @@ElevenSEES Kingdom Hearts is a collaboration project of Square and Disney. It was never specifically stricted for Final Fantasy only. Disney as the world building and exploration, Square as the gameplay and story. It has elements from FF since the first game: magics, summons, the RPG aspect: equipments, items, customizations, etc. All these are elements from FF. Even the original KH characters are very FF-esque. People failed to see the FF aspect from the gameplay perspective. Only whining over the lack of FF characters like that's the only thing to describe FF.

J.AshBran AudioScripts Tbh, Zeus is never mentioned... the only thing I could say is a hint but hardly explored is in KH2 when they need the stone to be able to use their powers in the underworld but Herc says its on Olympus so... to be fairly honest... I got nothing besides that.

I understand why they didn't use any FF characters in the game, i just think that it was wrong to establish them as part of the universe then have absolutely no presence of them whatsoever. Like in KH2 where they all assisted Sora in that one fight? That was perfect because they were all contained to one world so they didn't override Disney or take the spotlight, but it was one of the most epic fights and most fun to play beside these iconic characters. Not to mention, battling Sephiroth was a tradition. I just think having them in the main games and then not in the literal END to the main trilogy of the Xehanort saga, Square misses out on having every possible nod to the past. Not to mention, more FF characters would get brand new fans into the whole series especially if they want to make more FF’s in the future. Because of the wait, KH3 is many player’s first KH game. But it’s also a 13 year wait for most fans. To not include the very characters that helped launch KH into the spotlight along with Disney, is the ONLY gripe i have about this game. Otherwise, everything else looks beautiful, the inclusion of so much more voice acting, more action, amazing CGI and gameplay, everything is amazing. But i wanted at least a few FF characters to even just say hello! I mean come on FF7 Remake is coming! Couldn't do a little show of Cloud and Sephiroth at least to promote the future game?

As much as I aodred the way FF characters were integrated into the first two titles and Zach's subplot in BBS. Given the fact they have to balance about 30 KH original characters and reasonably retell or add onto plots of Disney worlds. Additionally since KH I came out SE grew a lot more lax making specific titles where most of their FF characters crossover like in the Dissidia or WOFF titls. It no lonnger makes sense devoting the time they used to towards FF characters in KH. There's no way they could've comfortably included them in a satisfying way like they used to. For example KH II is the only game that feature one in the party in the form of Auron. No other Disney world features FF characters bar that. The rest were either cameos like Setzer and Vivi in TT. Or part of the HB/RG crew who while having a decent plot more or less have it resolved after the second Tron level. The only lingering stuff is with Zach, Cloud, and Sephiroth. It's annoying that likely won't be cleared up unless they include an FF themed DLC.

That's because Meg's death and Hercules sacrificing himself to save her was previously adapted in KH2. This is basically a reenactment of the films third act just without Meg dying and Hercules going back to the Underworld again.

I'm confused on the time period on where Hercules is taking place in the KH series and wether it's set after the events of the movie or during the events of the film. Because in BBS, Hercules was a teenager still training with Phil just like in the original movie. By the events of KH, KH2 and now KH3, especially in the first KH game it's seems it's set after the events of the movie cause Phil mentioned to SDG that Herc was visiting his father Zeus on Olympus, also in KH2, Hercules brought up his father line after saving Meg the second time in the River of Styx, "For a true Hero isn't the size of his strength, but the strength of his heart" which many fans assume that it's set after the movie's events meaning that the rest of the Hercules movie (Hades awaking the Titans, Hercules saving Meg) could've happened between BBS and KH. But another thing that feels off is regarding the Titans in the KH series, cause in the original film after the cosmos aligned 18 years later Hades frees them only for Hercules to throw them into space obliterating them, yet in the Journal entries by Jiminy's Journal when Sora faces the Rock and Ice Titans in the Coliseum the entries mentioned they've been revived by Hades all of a sudden and in KH3 he frees them from their prison 18 years later so what's going on here?!?!

Each instance of OC is only based off the original movie, so they take a lot of liberties. They set up the movie through the 2 first games with the climax here, but some stuff happened offscreen like Hercules doing most of his heroic chores and meeting his father. It's also showcased here when Herc says he can visit Olympus any time (aaaand Sora is able to step inside), while in the original movie he had to be a God for it.
