I just love how the Disney/Pixar charatcers are actually way more interactive with the Kingdom Herats badguys this time around, going as far as to tell them off or actually try to confront or even fight them. I don't know why, but I love it. Probably a part of my childhood which loves seeing old heroes spring into action again against new, much more sinister opponents who would likely wreck their faces.

....I'm on 7 min in and this is already my favorite take they've ever had on any of the Disney worlds. Like seriously, before this one, I never really felt much for the Disney stuff. It was all a means to an end. Padding, just meant to get to the next actual Kingdom Hearts scene. It's part because most of the time, the Disney worlds are just shittier versions of the movies they're based on. Like you already know what is going to happen. Nothing is a surprise and the characters are protected by plot armor. The FF characters only fair slightly better, since they're uprooted entirely from their games. But this...I'm getting Undertale vibes and would love it if Sora undergoes Buzz's character arc. Going from thinking he's real to realizing he's a video game character.

I believe they are the real Woody and Buzz, just simply displaced in a realistic copy of their world. Xehanort explained this at 12:13 where he and the Organization were researching how hearts connected to each other in the Toy Story world. They also wanted to test the limitations of said connection, which is why they created a copy world and isolated some of the characters to stress the connection. So I’m assuming that in Toy Story prime world; Woody, Buzz, Rex, Ham, the toy soldiers, and the aliens are missing.

They probably got back, I think they just kept them in the alternate world so that the player could always go back and have them in the party. Bit of a shame they couldn't have done something similar with Rapunzal for Corona, I know her hair gets cut but they could have maybe done something similar to Ping/Mulan in KH2 and have her come back with a different fighting style when you return to that world.

I found a theory that says the world of Toy Story aka Toy Box might exist on the other side in the Realm of Fiction, this means Xehanort was somehow capable of digging into realms outside of his reality, pulled people from it and made copy worlds to put them in for experiments. Given the Pixar movies compared to the animated Disney movies are set in similar worlds to our own reality that might be what the Realm of Fiction is full of Pixar worlds, a star wars world, a marvel world, Quadratum, hell maybe The World Ends With You and Nier as well. Then again Monstropolis a Pixar movie world has to be a unique case in order for said theory to work.

Long story short, bad guy fucks shit up, bad guy gets fuck, new bad guy shows up, he gets fuck. Main bad guy shows up, fucks up the story and then you fuck him over. Any questions?
