Just found your channel and it was a good video. I agree with the amount of promotion that KH3 got. It was also set to release on the PS3 and still nothing for the system's entire life cycle. I think that no matter what (after 14+ years between mainline titles) KH3 wasn't going to live up to the hype. I do agree with you though, they kept pushing on the trailers for all of those years and still making side games, which many fans took as swerves. I hope they treat it just like FF XVI in the promotion aspects although I am a little worried that nothing was mentioned about it in 2024. (Outside of a few comments in an interview that was supposed to be about KH3 DLC ReMind) I'm hoping to get a couple of trailers in 2025 along with a release date. This is my favorite game series (if you can't tell from my pfp) and I want nothing but success for the story, the product, and the characters I've come to enjoy over the years. I do think that Square Enix has learned a lot from the FF XV (Versus XIII) debacle and how they handled KH3. You said it yourself by referencing XVI. So maybe, just maybe, this will be a hit and hopefully by 2026 (2027 at the latest). also subbed in so I can catch your next video. I enjoyed the edits, the humor, and the breakdown. @@Lost_Angel231 thank you so much. Kingdom hearts is one of my favorite series too so I definitely will be making content on it more in the future. I plan on making content on a variety of games. I appreciate you being here for the journey.

I really hope we can get a 4-6 to match 1-3 as a “saga.” I just don’t know if Nomura will stay that long. As long as he has everything set out that someone else could follow, I’d be down with that, but I worry for the future of KH. I’m really hoping that KH4 will go ahead and cover Yozora’s backstory, so as to avoid a Verum Rex game. While I’d be fine with getting one of those, I would just like main stories instead of side stories and/or remakes. When it comes to remakes, the story of X, Dark Road and Missing Link need to be an amalgamation game of the three to cover their story, as back cover definitely doesn’t give enough info to understand why Ephemera and other X characters show up in KH3. Just finish all of Missing Link’s story and decide if it’s going to be online for sure or not; release it, and then move all focus to how to proceed past KH4.

The issue first the dam game play KH2 hit the sweet spot and should have stuck to the mode and the drive modes and improved on this. And they messed it up with new game play which felt a far cry from the kingdom hearts franchise and also the heavy influence of final fantasy style as well. Also it felt so clunky like these new AAA games don’t let you play. The cut scenes were earned and moved the plot or experience not every 5 seconds is a cut scene. This is an example of staying in your lane and if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Marketing couldn’t save that and again where was the final fantasy experience and the worlds they choose also wasn’t the best choices. And the plot of the story should have not dragged as well.
