If you really think about it, Terra may not have been so stupid after all. He followed Xehanort because he said that he could teach Terra and because Xehanort was a MASTER Terra really wouldn't have thought anything of it. Sure, the creepy yellow eyes may seem obvious to us, the players, because we know what they mean. But at this time nobody would have known that. Terra was unlucky and went down the wrong path because of it. If anyone is to blame, it's Eriquis (however you spell that). Xehanort literally blasted him in the face with darkness and yet he still somehow was considered a friend.

Eraqus definitely held a lot of blame for his absolutes, and Nort wasn't wrong about that part of him (but Nort loses points for actively making things worse for people in general). At the very least, Eraqus realized his mistake, even if far too late. He also serves as the folly of sticking tradition, as he would've blindly failed Riku for even just using darkness, ignoring the fact that the kid's used it so much he's immune to its corruptive aspects, which is the concern if using darkness in the first place. I wonder what Aqua has to say. We never did get to see her reaction to Riku using darkness for light

When you think on it, all Terra's more gullible traits were a result of Eraqus tending to teach as if things were absolute. If someone isn't attacking you, and is instead talking to you, they are likely good. If they attack you, they are likely evil. That sort of thinking is likely what Eraqus taught, and Terra just seems likely to have taken it too literally.

I love Terra! Sure he made some bad, and what some would say foolish, choices but in the end he would realize the error of his ways and fight with all he had to make amends and atone for his sins. Deep down Terra was a kind, trusting young man, a bit too trusting at times I'll admit, but can you really blame him when all of his life was spent in the Land of Departure and the only people he knew were Master Eraqus, Aqua, and later on Ventus. To him all of these people were good so naturally when he goes out to explore new worlds he'd assume everyone else to be good too. That's what Terra's story was all about him growing as a person and realizing that not everyone is good and to be trusted. He's proof that we all make mistakes and that when we realize we've done wrong we should do everything in our power to fix it even if things don't work out the way we plan sometimes. Much respect Terra and I hope you get your body and heart back in KHIII! P.S. Second best major character theme in the KH series, the best one being Sora's. Everybody else's is so damn depressing!

I still would probably like to see the Ventus, Aqua and Terra beat him. The trio really overshadowed the main characters in my opinion, I hope square enix makes a similar RPG series after its over it doesnt even need disney characters to shine the original characters from KH are the best characters in the games. of course Sora will be really important, but I hope they split up the glory a bit, because if one character is too overpowered it gets boring. This theme is my personal favorite in the game for two main reasons. During the fight with eraqus when it plays, it gives you a real sense of the fact that this fight shouldn't be happening, that they are both fighting for good and that they should be on the same side, but at the same time it shouts terra's determination to protect his friends with all his might. Perfectly fitting for Terra's character. Somber and regretful yet full of power.

It's different to the ones from ven and aqua. Their are also good, but more sad compared to Terra's Theme. Okay, i find, in this theme, you can also hear a bit of tragic, but it is way more epic!

@AtieHatesSmooshy I remembered. It's the fact he doesn't hesitate to stand up against his enemies. He accepts the mistakes he did and devoted his whole existance to setting things right, unlike cloud who didn't show any character development for a long time and just fell into a long phase of depression, which seemed to be cured at first, but, as Advent Children proved, was just an illusion. It took him too long to set his mind straight, lamenting over his mistakes for what felt like an eternity.

@Izuru57 what chocobo859 meant is that if you watched the ending to KH BBS, you see that when Ven beat Vanitas, his heart became whole, but his heart became separated from his body (mind you he did not become a heartless let alone a nobody because he was not taken by 'darkness') and eventually found his way to 4 year old Sora, where they fused together so that Ven wouldn't be 'sad' anymore. You could say Roxas did indeed 'have a heart' because of this unique event in Sora's/Ven's life.

Xehanort was a man who was obsessed with darkness. He began experimenting and became engulfed with darkness. He soon saw Terra as a replacement body for he was getting old and Terra was weak to darkness. As he possessed terra, Terra fought back and lost both his and Xehanorts memories. So he finds his way back to darkness working under Ansem. He becomes obsessed, steals Ansems work and name, thus Ansem became DiZ, and Xehanort became Ansem. During the experiments with darkness, he lost his heart (again) and created heartless Ansem, and Xemnas the Nobody. Idk what happened to Xehanort or Terra after Sora beat them both. Idk if Terras heart was set free. Because in the secret ending of BBS, we see Terra standing next to Ventus, who opens his eyes after being in a comatose state, and they both smile and say "Sora". So basically Sora saved them. I think

mitsuni taïko the battle information was simply talking about the future 😂😂 but yeah true enough though. I just wanted a good measure of vengeance. Like imagine the Lingering Will and The Guardian both taking on Terranort together and that’s how he got his body back. That’d be 100% fan service for me but overall I’m just glad he’s back.

@tonyqtran700 Heartless are much stronger than Unversed. You'll know if you've played BBS Final Mix. And Terra didn't do a single thing but fail until the end when he stopped Xehanort. He promised Ven, Aqua, his fallen master Eraqus(Square), and his mortal enemy Xehanort that he won't fall into Darkness. Guess what, he does, almost all the time!
