This reminds me of a girl. She was my best friend. We'd do reckless stuff together like drink in class. We both loved kh. She plays piano, and I heard her play xions theme, so now it always reminds me of her and makes me smile. We'd talk about kh endlessly. After a while- actually no, lol- not long after we became friends, I realized I had feelings for her. I was too chicken to ask her out because I didn't think she saw me the same way. One time, we started drinking in class, and she was a few swigs in. She went on about how "great" I am, and asked if I wanted to know a secret. Obviously, I said yeah. She then said that at some point, she had feelings for me as well. I dismissed it and said that it was the vodka speaking- because that's what I thought was true. Not long after, the window closed and she had a boyfriend. Since she was still my best friend, she'd give me every detail about her relationship as it happened. I didn't mind. That's what friends are for, and that's what we are. More windows opened, but I never took the opportunity because I felt it was too soon or not the right time (break ups, etc). Next thing I knew, something happened with her not-so-friendly parents and she was transfered to another school. Kinda hurt, all things considered. She didnt have a phone. Eventually, she borrowed a friends phone to text me among others from time to time and I told her that if she gave me a time and place, I'd walk those miles to see her because I wanted to. It had been over a month since I'd seen her at the time. It's been months, and I stopped counting after 5. I'm hoping that once she's 18, she'd move out and reach out to me. I'm just hoping for one more window. Hell, fuck a window. I just wanna see my friend again. I miss her. Not expecting anyone to read this. I just wanted to finally let out somewhere. Figured this might be a good place as any.

I think Xion was made from Sora's feelings of longing. Even in her theme, you can hear Riku's, Kairi's, and the Dearly Beloved theme mixed in. That just makes her whole existence even more sad.

I wondered if they used specific emotions and memories from Sora to create Xion. According to Naminé, her face was blank until Sora's memories changed her appearance, which is why she looks like a dark-haired Kairi.

Nah man most of the game is just tedious ass missions that are boring as hell. Some parts, like the (spoiler alert) interactions between the org 13 members are funny, the boss fights are good, xions story is good, and the music is good, but most of the game can be frustrating with all the missions.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is the only game of the series that I devoted a large amount of time into. I tried getting into the other games, but Sora just didn't compare to Roxas in my opinion. Every time I hear this song, I get emotional and nostalgic. I miss Xion and Roxas :'(

Honestly I liked Roxas a lot better as a protagonist. It was a nice breath of fresh air to have a serious/edgy protagonist along with a dark tragic story rather than with Sora where it's feels like your more typical light hearted disney story. Don't get me wrong I love Sora and KH2 will always be a timeless classic but 358/2 days had a more dark and mature shift in tone and story which I always love it when game series's are willing to take that risk and begin to make games that cover more mature topics and dark themes.

To me the 358/2 Days is EASILY!!! the saddest story line in all of the Kingdom Hearts games. Everything about it is just so freaking sad!!! Xion and Roxas(Especially) just trying to find answers and to know who they are. The Organization just viewing them as a tool to create kingdom hearts/keep Sora asleep and nothing more. The knowledge that Xion and Roxas need to sacrifice themselves in order for Sora to wake up. And Axel... oh man. This one gets me more than any. In my eyes Axel is actually one of the smartest members of the organization and also one who really felt empty inside(before Roxas) but then for him to find a best friend, and on top of that to find someone who was able to help him feel he has emotions/a heart again, only to loose it. Then to watch him struggle and fight with everything he has got to save that friend ship and create what they once had. SO FREAKING SAD Axel and Roxas will forever be my favorites in the series.

Wow... I'm 23 now and couldn't refrain from passing tears as the memories and nostalgia of playing this game at 11 flooded my mind and soul. This was/is the first Kingdom Hearts game I played and it left me feeling a certain way I had never felt before at that age. The music, the characters, the challenges, and the overall journey of the game made me feel like I was there... a part of it all, friends with Roxas, Xion and Axel. As such, I was experiencing the events WITH Roxas because I WAS Roxas. His journal entries, questioning of his existence and purpose, and appreciation of simply sitting on the Clock Tower with Xion and Axel all became a part of MY journey as well. I just couldn't understand back then why Roxas had to suffer through so much tragedy, and it had a profound effect on me. The emotion it evoked opened my eyes to becoming more human, I suppose, in the sense that I realized I COULD truly feel sad, angry, and happy. That is the thing about this franchise, everything worked so well to create an experience that will forever be a part of me.

Man, this song takes me way back in high school. I bought this game day 1 when it first came out on DS. I had such a fun time with this game, playing Mission Mode with friends, enjoying the story and learning of what Roxas, Xion and Axe went through during these days. The Xion fight was painful to do, and her death was so emotional that I was literally crying. I remember seeing her death scene in the library at my school and the librarian came to ask if I was ok, and I explained to her about that scene. Eventually, I knew somehow, we would see Xion again, and sure enough, many years later, we finally did, and now she is safe at last, all thanks to Sora :) I look forward to the day Sora returns home to his friends.

Every time I listen to this song, I always at the verge of crying. This song is full of so much sorrow and sadness, yet snippets within the composition, I hear parts full of joy and glee. I feel as if the song perfectly portrays Xon's life within the game. Most of it is depressing, but some of it isn't always sad. It is instead happy because of the close friendships she made, with Roxas and Axel, throughout here life as a puppet.

I feel it really symbolises Xion's life. Most of the song makes you feel sad and sorry for Xion, Roxas and Axel and then for afew small moments in the song, happy bits in the song that show her times with her friends, eating ice cream on the station tower and just generally being friends.

Listening to this song give me so many chills, and makes me cry every time. God I can't even count the number of times that this series has made me cry. Each character is so beautiful and tragic in their own way, and Xion has to be one of the best ever. Roxas and Axel may not remember her, but she is a character that will not soon be forgotten by fans. I love Xion, and Kingdom Hearts is the most deep and beautiful game I've ever played

well about Ven... they just met and played/fought and thats it, not really best friends. well at least they are friends. but about Isa, his eyes was color green in BBS but after that, his eyes became yellow (meaning to say that he was possesed by Xehanort/Xemnas or something like that which includes Xehanort)

It's been ten years since kingdom hearts 358/2 days had been released on Nintendo DS. My very first kh game it brings me back many memories of playing it. Xion is and will always be my favorite character no matter what.

i have a long history with 358/2 days and specially with Xion, xion and a girl i've met at my 13 till my 20, she was really similar to xion, even physically, our history is long, really long, and full of emotions and different moments, we don't even was bfs, but there was to many opportunities to be, and we don't talk now, every time i see xion i remember her, she is the person who most impacted in my life, by far. and i saved her from the lonliness when we was young, we stopped talking due to situations that were beyond our control, we talked again some times,but sooner or later it ended the same, there's already 4 years without talking with her, i remember all our history and it makes me want to cry a bit, not only for nostalgy, but for missing her and missing these stories we had, We were always a perfect couple, and we fit together in a way that was unimaginable for many people. i love kh 358/2 days since kid, and xion has a lot of arianna's personality, and a lot of way. And they was similar in the way they do things, in the story, once roxas falls into a deep sleep, and xion brings him shells from the beach to put on his pillow, once, I didn't go on a field trip in high school , and she took a shell from the place, she saved it and gave it to me, and that shell was the same as the ones that Xion collected, I kept it for a long time, and I gave it to her at another future time, with the decision that we would take it taking turns, I wonder if he still has it...her twitter still has the same name, relationed with xion, because I gave Ari that name, because of the similarities, both mental and physical, and she still has it there out of affection, I know that, but I hope that one day we will talk again. that song, like xion, that dearly beloved version reminds me to her too Not having achieved anything with her, when we had many opportunities to do so, is one of the things I regret most in my life. She was my xion, i was her roxas, and everything in this ending reminds me of our situations, our journey, and how painfully we lost each other, although there will always be a fondness in our memories, we disappeared, as will this message. I miss you Ari, i hope you're alive, i hope you're ok, i've never missed someone like i miss you, everything was better in your presence. I would do anything to have you back in my life.

The sad thing about this song, is that when I first found this song on KZbin... I hadn't played 358/2 Days yet. I hadn't even HEARD of the game. But I loved this song so much, I didn't understand at all who this Xion just person was. Just listening to this song made me feel sad inside. But now I know and it makes me feel more sad I didn't know who she was.

We where all once a child in our own little world with our friends. And now I look back on this series with such profound nostalgia and love that I know I’ll cherish every memory until I’m gone. These songs very firmly have been attached to my soul just as I clung to every aspect of these games as a kid. I love kingdom hearts regardless of any form of criticism .

When I 1st played the cinematic cutscenes of kingdom hearts 358/2 day's back in 2013 i could see that xion was a character with a tragic backstory but she realised that her memories really belonged to Sora and when she returned her memories she would disappear and everyone forgot who she was but at the end of kingdom hearts 3 she became her own person like roxas and naminé.

JM Cooper you're missing the point of the line. Roxas never got to live a regular life. He didn't have any normal relationships with other people as a Nobody. Axel took Roxas out for ice cream on his first day in the Organization, and in turn, Roxas took Xion out for ice cream as well. As for as Roxas was concerned, with his short experience of friendships, "eating ice cream" is all friends did together, which makes the quote even sadder

Many people were and are sad about her death as well am i but she wants us to be happy and to remember that whenever we play as roxas or sora we are also playing as her. XION LIVES ON!
