If it's Eraqus, it would explain how it uses ethereal blades much like Xemnas does. They were both former keyblade masters who are unable to use the keyblade anymore.

@lilAnt150 actually, the weapon that Xemnas uses is called "Ethereal energy", which he forms how he pleases. as we have seen, he uses it as a barrier and as rods of light he either sets in place or holds onto, himself. ethereal, by definition, means "fine" or "heavenly". now, he was a keyblade user, both bodies, from the start, so why doesnt he use a keyblade, like roxas, in his nobody form? because the hearts that comprise Xemnas are both light and dark (continued...)

@Dualwieldingroxas if you take off the abilities the easier it becomes i don't know why but it does. Most of his attacks take you down to one health so the hp plus doesnt really help all that much. Curagas are a good way to heal in case his next attack is unavoidable or unblockable. if you manage to fill aquas command style to the second level those commands will put you in ghost drive or sky climber(bad dodging skills) i know its avoidable but that way you can do some damage during the cyclone

@ConorC96 Unknown has control over fire, too, and I'm not betting on him being Axel. You see, just because some characters have similar abilities does not mean they're him. You're forgetting: in -addition- to Unknown's time abilities, he -also- has control over fire, wind, frickin' METEORS, invisibility, and much more. Finally, Unknown's and Luxord's physiques are nothing alike. Also, Larxene was a rather unexplained Organization XIII member as well, don't you think?

@lilAnt150 that mixture of intense light and dark creates a "fine" substance; Ethereal energy. Xemnas, a being brought about by two hearts, light and dark, no longer has the ability to use a keyblade, for his "no heart" (yes, a referance) is intense light and thick darkness, meaning that a keyblade cannot form, since keyblades are weapons created from the heart, which xemnas' is far too imbalanced to create. that is why he uses ethereal energy, not a keyblade. any questions? ill gladly answer

B. this is some form of representation of the entire org13 C. this IS Luxord - his time-controlling abilities would allow him to warp time in such a way the fire of someone else is used for his cause - not to mention the side effects of his attacks (Amnesia, doom, stun, all relatable to time in a way) D. new char.

@ConorC96 Luxord was explained. He just wasn't developed a lot, because he didn't need to be. There are no mysteries surrounding Luxord, either. He was never going to be an important character. We might find out more about him/his somebody in BBSV2, but I highly doubt that he'll ever be more than a minor organization member. The only thing that you say is pointing to him being the mysterious figure is his time abilities, but at no point was it shown that he could time travel or anything similar.

His Heartless form, his Nobody form, and a third, younger form...going around with Vanitas. So yeah. It's him. As for the change in bossness, blame the programmers.

@negisensei1234 I don't know if thats true but i do think that Eraqus is still alive. If you played HK one then you should remember when sora stabbed his heart to free kairi, and whe nshe woke up she tried to catch him and when she did she absorbed his heart. The exact same thing happened when Terra tried to catch Eraqus, so Eraqus is in Terranort's heart. Which could have eventually made a nobodu and heartless for Eraqus but that could only happen 10 years in the future.

@Deadfalk Uh, how does timewarping=summoning fire and ice? Game storylines are sometimes illogical, yes, but they always make some sense. Especially in the Kingdom Hearts series, there is always some foreshadowing. The only foreshadowing that you are talking about here is the fact that MF has some time based abilities, and so does Luxord. By this logic, I could say that MF is Axel because he has fire abilities, or Vexen because he has ice abilities. Obviously he isn't any of them.

Remove every ability except once more, second chance, and scan. use the void gear with ven and aqua. chaos ripper with terra. *with aqua only use fire surge use dodge roll, cartwheel, and slide DO NOT USE THUNDER ROLL FIRE WHEEL OR SONIC IMPACT keep spamming dodge hit him with a surge during the wind cyclone, the flying X attack and his 6th pass with the fire attack hope it helps

what if mysterious figure is a previous nobody from master xehanort? think about it, xehanort discovered the method to transfer his heart to other bodies, so what if he did it before by accident. like battling some evil guy who owned that body before. that may explain the mysterious figure as being that guys mixed up nobody, just like xemnas.

The Mysterious Figure is Xehanort's second Nobody. *brief spoiler alert* At the end of Terra's story in Birth By Sleep, Master Xehanort threw his old body so he could use his heart to take control of Terra. That vessel should still be lurking around somewhere

In the secret movie of Birth By Sleep you see Ansem the Wise talking to Aqua about 10 years after birth by sleep so basically its at Kh2 time.
