Here is a tip: If you don't usually synthesize, then the Ultima weapon might be blacked out. You need to have a certain level in Moogle Synthesizing, but I think you only need to be the first level. You have to synthesize items until your Moogle Exp runs out, and if you level up, just once, it will say that you can use Bright Crystals and Energy Crystals. And by synthesizing the Ultima Weapon, you get almost to a full level of Moogle Exp.

Forgot Other Password Yes! That works too, but all the effort it needs is to grind the same item(s). Bright crystals are needed as well. (Hence why you need to synthesize until Bright Crystals and Energy Crystals are usable.) I'd say it's your choice, but it depends on whether you need to synthesize *other* materials to get to S-Rank-Material-Halving. If that is the case, it's a win-win, because you got other important items and the ability to synthesize the Ultima Weapon with your Moogle Level Abilities.

This is easily the best guide on YT for the Ultima but I just want to state one thing that I had an issue with that didn't seem he mentioned in the video, You need to have at least a level 2 Moogle Lvl to make the Ultima, I had all the items in the list everything was complete I double check but couldn't seem to make it. Look everywhere until I decided to make a item and found out you need Level 2 Moogle. So if you have al items and can't seem to make it make a weapon, I made Donald's Save the Queen and I instantly was able to make it. Aside from that great video, Thumbs up for it.

I been playing this game for years even when the original for the ps3 & could never figure out how to get the ultimate weapon or what I was missing. I'd look up other ppl & they would make it so complicated like do this & there you go but you go step by step making it soo much easier to find out & as a big kh's fan you have blessed me with this video I dub thee true key blade master. Your doing gods work son

Thx a lot bro, I always played KH2 on the PS2 but now I’m doing a run on critical on Final Mix. Never knew about those additional items in the cave of remembrance. Very useful!
