Here is a tip: If you don't usually synthesize, then the Ultima weapon might be blacked out. You need to have a certain level in Moogle Synthesizing, but I think you only need to be the first level. You have to synthesize items until your Moogle Exp runs out, and if you level up, just once, it will say that you can use Bright Crystals and Energy Crystals. And by synthesizing the Ultima Weapon, you get almost to a full level of Moogle Exp.

Forgot Other Password Yes! That works too, but all the effort it needs is to grind the same item(s). Bright crystals are needed as well. (Hence why you need to synthesize until Bright Crystals and Energy Crystals are usable.) I'd say it's your choice, but it depends on whether you need to synthesize *other* materials to get to S-Rank-Material-Halving. If that is the case, it's a win-win, because you got other important items and the ability to synthesize the Ultima Weapon with your Moogle Level Abilities.

STORY TIME - It was Janurary 2006 and I just bought KH2, I was 12 and had no internet access and I wanted to 100% the game. I used the journal to know what I still needed to complete. I did all the mini games, fought all the bosses and got every item except for Ultima weapon. I was missing one Oricalcum +. So i went about opening every single chest left. But there was one chest I could not find in the World that Never Was. For days I searched throughout TWTNW, going back and forth, looking through every corner. After all of that I was at my end. I loaded into the save location in front of the the organization XIII castle and just threw my controller in frustration. My camera moved slightly to reveal the final chest holding the final Orichalcum+ and I wept in joy.

For anyone farming Twilight Crystals post Xemnas in 2024, go to the Cavern of rememberance, to the room of assemblage, walk in and out of the room. If you see berserk guys, walk back into the room and out until you see dragoons and sorcerers. Also don't forget lucky rings which are only available via crafting experimentation upon finishing the Puzzle piece collection. 9x more Lucky Lucky is going to make farming anything you want a lot less painful. Side side note: The purple heartless in Space paranoids, and the large mouthed heartless in Pride Rock both drop elixirs, so if you farm them for crystals they also double as a great way to farm elixir.

For those who synthesize a lot, or want more manifest illusion for more full bloom +. 1) Get your moogle to level 8 to unlock the serenity crystal in free development. Use bright items in recipes for double experience for the moogle to get there faster. 2) synthesize a serenity crystal. They need 1 tranquility crystal, 1 rememberance crystal, and 5 bright crystals 3) make another serenity crystal in CREATIONS but this time, use a serenity gem to upgrade the recipe for a manifest illusion. I simply stumbled across this while playing just now and don't know if it is on the wiki soooo. Your welcome. And I got to say this also. 14 seconds for mp charge is amazing. Used on critical mode at lvl 62 with one mp haste and hastera from abilities, Ultima weapon's mp hastega and four full bloom + adding four more mp haste

This is easily the best guide on YT for the Ultima but I just want to state one thing that I had an issue with that didn't seem he mentioned in the video, You need to have at least a level 2 Moogle Lvl to make the Ultima, I had all the items in the list everything was complete I double check but couldn't seem to make it. Look everywhere until I decided to make a item and found out you need Level 2 Moogle. Poison Viper456 there are guides to help you level up your forms growth abilities For forms to gain exp: Valor- hit enemies Wisdom- kill heartless Limit- cast a limit and use the final commands for said limit Master- collect drive orbs Final- kill nobodies The final level for each is 7 once you’ve unlocked final form

I remember when I first collected the Ultima weapon after hours of my life wasted without looking up a guild. Screamed like a pterodactyl Indian war tribe when I did it. But had I known that this guild, which by the way was constructed so well that everything made sense and easy to understand and follow(well done on that btw), existed sooner... I would at least have saved myself a couple of weeks getting it.
