tank stephens Fragmentary Passage has not ever been a game before. It's entirely new and is a sequel to Aqua's roam through the Realm of Darkness. What you could have missed though is the bonus of Final Mix that has Aqua battle lots of Heartless and travel through the Realm of Darkness as it was a secret unlock of BBS FM. Fragmentary Passage is basically a sequel to that.

Lol, don't worry. Basically, a great battle of the keyblades is about to happen in KH3. KH 2.8 is the intro to KH3 by explaining why everything is how it is (darkness, heartless, etc.), hence why it's called "Prologue." Another fun thing why its called 2.8 is because if you add 0.2 (which you can see 0:45) and 2.8 it's sum equals 3, which can only mean KH3.

I don't think it's exactly fair to blame Nomura on literally every single thing related to Kingdom Hearts. Yes, he's the series' director and is in charge of the overall arching story of the series, but he isn't literally the cause of everything that happens. With KHX, I highly doubt he had much involvement as far as "Oh, how many quests are we gonna make" or "How many microtransactions are we gonna have." I'm pretty sure his involvement was just in the concept of the game, approving gameplay ideas, and developing the over-arching story.

+Dboy733 It literally took one of my friends back in the early PS2 days maybe 20 hours to beat KH2. The handheld games are about as long, but that's usually because they have some dick move padding(missions in 358/2 with no purpose, three stories+final in BBS, pointless portal wandering in Re:Coded, the drop meter in 3D). Plus, there's an obligatory energy meter on KH X because it's a free game and all free games share that time wasting formula. Not to mention the quests ramp up in difficulty and you're gonna have to grind on other quests to beat them which takes more energy which takes more time. 500 quests is probably going to cross 200 hours because of how fast enemies scale in difficulty after quest 200 or so and waiting for all of your stupid energy.

I can explain. The Vulpus head was Ava, one of the 5 Foretellers. Unlike the others, she have a greater role in X Chi (PC in Japan) and Unchained X (Mobile version of the same story). The boy with the red scarf was Emphera, a keyblade user who cooperated with Ava to ensure the survival of the children and wielders from the Keyblade war. I believe Emphera might have an important role in Kingdom Hearts 3 as he was the one who ensures the survival of the keyblade wielders and children who recreates the world. My guess is that he will appear as a form of memories to tell the truth about the Keyblade War.

Apparently, Xbox is killing Square Enix regarding their Japanese games when Hashimoto and Nomura have to say in interviews last year that they want to spread more PS4's and give gamers a reason to buy one, hence the reason they haven't announced a Japanese game for Xbox since E3 2014 with Type-0 HD and continue to announce new games exclusively for PS to this day. If you actually follow the market, this would be common sense. No one who likes Japanese games would only own an Xbox console. Just in case you bring up the "I can only afford one console" or whatever similar to that...you can't have everything in life.

They didn't realize how much of a failure Xbox was going to be, for Japan. Both in regards to western sales of Japanese games, or Japanese interest in the console. They announced FF15 and KH3 for XB1 before these consoles came out remember.

This has been reiterated by co-director Tai Yasue at E3 2014 when talking about 2.5 and by Nomura in September when 2.8 was announced. But 2015-2016 is a different time from 2013 from management perspective. They know what is profitable and what isn't.

+nanomantube look at gameplays amto get the story or read the khwiki for a recap. most the handhelds got remade for console. you can get 1.5 and 2.5 and they have the middle games to get the full story.

So, I decided to just watch the cutscenes of Birth by Sleep and 358/2 Days to get the plot and BOY was it worth it. Played KH 1, Chain of Memories and KH 2 so now everything makes sense, in a very complicated way. XD
