KINGDOM HEARTS HD I.5 ReMIX - Debug Reveal

Today, I'm proud to release the first-ever known KINGDOM HEARTS HD I.5 ReMIX PS3 Debug build! This release has been made possible thanks to the numerous efforts of individuals from the KH community and beyond. I believe that this is a significant step forward, as it marks the first time that a KH1 debug menu is accessible to the broader public. I'm confident that this build will assist modders and researchers across the entire community, so thank you so much for joining me and helping to make this possible.
I also would like to give my own personal thanks to my dear friend ‪@kuriatsu‬. She has been my link to the seller of this build and was crucial in helping with negotiations. Additionally, she has a KZbin channel where she conducts video game research and has already examined this build. Please, check her out.
💿 ABOUT THE BUILD 💿
This build comes from a private collector who managed to acquire it through a private contact. After inspecting the build, I'm confident in saying that it's more than just a debug version. It appears to be a developer build from when KH1.5 was being translated. The trophies are in Japanese, pre-rendered movies are from the JP version, and there are bugs in some texts (as I also show in the video).
While working on the video, I shared the build executables with other trusted hackers from the KH community so they could provide their insights too. It appears that the KH1 executable doesn't contain debug symbols, but ReCoM does. According to my friend gg3502, a PC port for the debug menus seems unlikely, as it would require a lot to be made from scratch. Additionally, my dear brother ‪@Keytotruth‬ has been working on an English translation for the KH1 Debug Menu, which is available by the end of this description along with the build. A KHReCoM Debug Menu translation will be released in the future as well.

There's one last thing I'd like to let you know. In recent days, someone reached with a new opportunity for a new KH1 PS2 pre-release disc that hasn't been shared yet. It would be similar to last PS2 pre-release that we funded. I haven't negotiated anything yet because this time, I'd like to hear your opinion first. If you would like me to organize a fundraiser for this or not.
To be completely honest with you, I'm not sure if this disc would be worth it since there's a high chance it could be similar to the previous one we've already released. However, I could also be wrong, and it might contain something special or be worth the effort.
In any case, I'd prefer not to let you guys down, that's why my current decision at this moment is not to do it. Basically, because I feel like I've already asked too much of you, and there's a high chance it only contains minor changes.
Still, preservation is always important, and as a hardcore KH fan, I'm down to organize anything. But again, I don't want to let you down, and I feel like I should only ask for help when I truly feel like it's super worth it (as with the KH1.5 Debug). Nonetheless, I promised you that I'd try my best to serve as a "mediator" between people who want to share this kind of material and the KH community. That's why I'd like to give you the option to choose.

how do you get this running on rpcs3? I keep getting a error related to the eboot file 😓

I managed to extract it (using WinRAR) to _/dev_hdd0/game/BLJM60589/,_ and it appears in the dashboard if I do that. But it fails to boot with error code *80029530,* which says it's a DRM issue.

It doesn't run in RPCS3. It's either not a valid eboot file, or (if I extract it directly to the _hdd0_ folder and try to run it through the XMB) I get error 80029530 (a DRM error). What do? *Edit:* Partial work. OK. Apart from how bafflingly non-specific the instruction "you have to decrypt the ISO" is, ps3-disc-dumper seems to have figured out the ISO. It thinks it's _Burnout Paradise Beta,_ and refused to take the KH HD1.5.key. So if anyone asks, this is a beta of a hot-ass Street Racing game. The game booted, there's a disembodied "U k" on the title screen. appeared to halt when I accessed the save memory "M e m", but it appears to be...working...?
