I remember when I was a lot younger and playing this on the easiest difficulty, I got stuck on this fight for like a month. But that made sense, back then I didn't really know how to play, would just equip every new keyblade I got and paid almost no attention to ability customization. But now, I'm going through on Proud mode, I actually know the game and take time to try and optimize everything, even made sure I have Valor and Wisdom growth abilities at level 1. Still been stuck on this guy for a week. After his first kill ten forms thing he just spans the shit out of everything, when he does his attack where the water comes up both in front and in back I feel like I literally can't escape it. I'll figure it out, it's just starting to piss me off.

I really feel bad for Demyx. I liked him very much--he's my 5th favorite out of o13. His abilities with water was impressive and quite inspiring. I hope to see his original persona in future installments (kh3 perhaps). I imagine we might see Luxord's with him as well since members with consecutive rankings seem to work together very often in o13.

wisdom form is better for this fight u can stay completely out of range of his attack deal decent damage and regain your magic meter so u can get a limit. I used wisdom form and comet with Donald to juggle him in the air so he couldn' attack and stalled till my next limit its amazing

I used to struggle on this boss fight when I was probably 10 or 11(im 19 now) and I couldnt beat him at all. Then the game stopped working so I never knew what happened after this fight. I just got kh the story so far and I defeated him first try.

I'm gonna have to be a contrarian here, I never found this boss hard. You just triangle as soon as you can to kill the forms, then kill the last one by hand, you beat him up but don't try more than 1 combo at a time, bring a bunch of potions and all's well that ends well. I think I've died on this maybe twice in all these years. I love Demyx as a character though, honestly he didn't really deserve to die here, or at all. He's really chill and doesn't like fighting, I wish he got more screentime, seems like he might be a genuinely cool guy.
