Xaldin was a big pain in the butt, took me 4 tries to finally defeat him and Mickey intervened at least 3 times during the battles, I managed to defeat him with Valor and the Rumbling Rose, only used the learn reaction command only 4 times in the last battle, used valor, equipped Goofy with some potions, which helped me finally defeat Xaldin, when I was running low on HP Goofy Healed me enough until I could use Cure, also the video helped too, so thank you.

something I've always wondered... why does ppl say Xaldin's the hardest member from Organization XIII to defeat? owo at proud mode so did I manage to defeat him at 1st time (only real problem being avoiding his dragon beam)... Xigbar was way stronger since I died like millions of times against him mainly cuz he kept spamming his strongest attack when he had 3 HP bars left owo

In my fanfictions, Xaldin still a major antagonist. He kills Marge Dursley (Vernon's sister), frame the guild of Light for the crime and tells the Dursley's That's the best Way to see Harry again is to join the guild Of Darkness and kills every member of the guild of Light as the "foursome Darkness" He even do that with Aunt Spiker and Sponge. Since He wants powerful abusive characters of Litterature to defeat me and my team (Me, Yako Katsuragi, Yusuke Urameshi and Tsuna Sawada)

leveling your growth abilities before this fight makes this boss trivial. The reason why everyone thinks this boss is so hard is because most people don't bother to level master form and jump dodge is vital to this fight.

Xaldin fight might look tricky but instead it's actually pretty easy. As soon as you start up, just press triangle and x at the same time to get the first jump on him as fast as you can. just keep doing this to dodge his attacks and it becomes an easy task. As soon as you can heal goofy and donald (dont use beast) and do the same while going triple drive, then do so and kick him in the ass. just try not to die, cause if you do you got 1 mickey by default. got this plenty of times on first try (proud and critical)

We all died a lot against Xaldin, he's insanely difficult, there's a pretty good reason Mickey fights alongside you in this fight. Otherwise he would simply put be too hard to beat, he's already barely doable WITH Mickey.

+PunkSkaful Mickey can only help you with some bosses. At first he will always appear 100 percent the first time. But if it happens constantly his appearance rate drops 20 percent each time. So when it hits 0 percent Mickey won't appear anymore.

Idk how I just did it but I beat Xaldin on critical without getting touched. I was level 38, I started the fight with Donald's Flare Force. At the end where it rains rockets from all directions I went in and did a few combos. It dropped his total health to about half. Then he did that attack where he jumps down on you 2:57. I did it perfectly: jump, spam triange, jump spam triangle, and built up 9 jumps. The the end of the attack I went into master form which protected me from his attack. I did non stop combos until my drive ran out. He had about 80% of his final life bar left. I use my 9 jumps that I had and finished him off. The battle was over in about a minute. I wish I had recorded it.

@DoinkTonberry i don't lose often. Only couple times when doing Mulan's morality missions, by not skipping items on the ground, because nightwalkers spam me more than the horsemen (slows me down!).

Xaldin is very tough to beat even on lower difficulty, I just used master form to spam thundara to break his attacks and create openings. Demyx is also deceptively hard but one way of making both battles easy is to use wisdom forms long range attack, thats how I beat demyx on proud without needing to heal even once! (Nearly died though).

oh, someone who uploaded the video is playing it in proud mode. Im playing it on normal. I think I hit my "game fustration level" fighting xigbar because I played KH2 for hours that day.. and THEN I fought him. When I coudn't beat him after like nearly 20 times, I got fustrated. So I took a break and stopped playing the game for a day. When I played it again today, I finally beat Xigbar on the first try, and then Luxord, and then Saix. The final boss is next, and then its game over.

Wow, so if you die, Mickey will come? I kept reloading the battle on PCSX2 everytime Xaldin killed me. I wasn't able to use a Drive because I would change into Anti-Sora and that is basically an insta-death. Took around 4 tries to get him.

Funny you should ask that question.. im at the xigbar fight now, lvl 43,I tried like 20 times, and I cant beat him. 4 more boss fights left in the game, but they made him too fast. If this boss is a problem, I can only guess that the rest of them are the same. I can get him down to 1 or 2 health bars left, but then I suddelny always loose the fight. Im now thinking of just calling it quits and just watching the last 4 fights on youtube to see what happens at the end of the game.

I thought anti form was hella useful here. It helped Sora dodge those IMA FIRIN MAH LAZAH moments when Xaldin is off the bridge. Plus, it did make the whole battle look really epic when Xaldin tries to use jump on Sora, but Sora just flies out of the way.

Belle's the true MVP with that little chump elbow She gave Him! Out of the Organization, Xaldin is the most intricate fighter. The only one that ever gave Me any trouble, and I found out that I wasn't freaking using that Command of what Sora does...pushing His scythes back down on Him up and down; I didn't even know to utilize that. So in Proud Mode this Fight was fucking ridiculous. I got so sick of hearing Mickey's voice...all those times I Died. Ha...08:49, that last "BACK OFF!" Cheesy Sora. Real cheesy. XD

the best time to charge the drive whould hav been when xaldin was riding around on the staffs and went off the bridge. u cant attack him during that, by the time he came over to attack you with the wind tunnel, you would have had probably 1 drive leveled up. until that time u shud just hav doged his attacks. btw, i think its funny how mickey came to help 3 times. that never happens for me

Well, the cool thing about RPGs is that they can make the boss fights harder because all you really need to do to beat them if they are too hard for you is level up more. I doubt you have done much of the extra stuff if you are only 43. You could go and do some of that for a while.

This battle is very challenging. First magicians should use thunder or reflect spell. No drives as they cannot be helpful. Sora guard ability will help you get the reaction command more frequently. If you need any assistance and your struggling call the summon stitch for defense throughout the battle. King Mickey will be there to aid you but u must put in effort for that to happen.

Honestly his ultimate is the only tricky part. The flurry of attacks I'll normally try to tank through with a reflect combo, then do the same for the tornado blast. His other stuff is pretty easy Though. Run away and Learn stock during his Blade Drop series, and guard and Learn stock during his basic strikes. He's not complicated, you just have to have decent timing. Xaldin is the first boss in the game series to make players really consider HOW to approach a boss fight. Most of the time It's just swing for the fences with the occasional reaction command.

Obviously I knew Xaldin would be hard, but he was nearly impossible! My plan that I stick to every time I play now, is keep going to worlds I have already done -HB- for example and keep leveling up. When I fight Xaldin I'm usually about level 40-41.

Demyx for the second time, is the hardest lol! Its hard as hell :p In this battle, you should gather all 9 "jumps" and then attack him with them, then combo.. again jumps and so on! :)

Yeah, the more you use drive forms, the higher your chance of getting anti-forms are. The highest it goes is 25%, but that's doubled in obligatory heartless battles and quadrupled in battle against Organization members. You can lower you chance by using anti-form and final-form. There are also a few battles in the game that automatically drop it back to zero. That's the simple version.
