Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (PS4) - Lingering Will No Damage (Level 1 Critical Mode)

The same restrictions as my best Terra fight but with Kingdom Key. A lot of people like to tell me to use Kingdom Key or Sweet Memories thinking it makes a huge difference. Yes, Decisive Pumpkin is better but really all this does is drags the fight on a little longer. It doesn't matter what keyblade you use at this point in the game unless its ability is actually useful so Kingdom Key and Sweet Memories do the same amount of damage in this fight. I only chose Kingdom Key because it looks and sounds better. The only reason Decisive Pumpkin is better here is because of its combo boost ability. I should've died once I hit the first auto counter but I got a lucky parry lol. I really could've died at the second one too but he usually goes straight to lasers once you hit it so I wasn't worried. This challenge used to be insane for me but I've done it quite a few times so it's not that bad anymore. No hit still fucking sucks though.

This is amazing to see! I decided to start up critical mode level 1 (part of a date from a friend lol) for the first time and even doing critical mode for the first time ever and my goal is to beat the game and take on the lingering will

@@ceptic6710 I did manage to beat the game on level 1 critical mode, but I do not recall taking on lingering will. It was a lot of work going through the main game. Still fun to do overall.

I wouldn't know where to begin learning all this. KHII had mechanics that I struggled either to understand let alone appreciate on top of a game not requiring a lot out of you to beat even on Standard mode and here you have superbosses that require mastery of said mechanics AND gimmicks! I bow to your skill, my friend. I suck at KHII.

Some attacks in the game do no damage but still hit you.

Hitting Terra's drone and Zexion book world teleport doesn't deal any damage but it still count as taking a hit. Xemnas "come closer" doesn't have the hit but still deal damage from the curse.

Marco Hueber Some things in the game can hit you without doing damage. If the turrets that shoot the lasers hit you it won’t do damage
