It is so interesting to witness the early stages of a mod in development when it comes to a playable character, especially for a character that was never meant to be playable as well as just being a boss. You’re making childhood dreams a reality here. As a kid I always liked how fast and brutal MF’s moveset was, and wanted at least one of the characters to have those as a command, like Terra does with Norts Ars Solum. I swear boss movesets are always the coolest in Kingdom Hearts.

This looks AMAZING! My only note here is... Time Rave seems a little underwhelming compared to the finishers that precede or follow it? Both Raging Flame and the clone attack seem way more powerful. I don't even remember a Rave attack being _in_ MF's arsenal...

I still can't believe this his moveset is nearly perfect too it seems like the only thing missing is doom counter and the whip attack. I don't see how doom could be effectively implemented but if you haven't already please consider working the whip grab into his moveset as it is arguably his signature and most memorable attack. Maybe you can replace one of his magic commands so it costs MP and not OP or you can consider throwing it into the attacks of his finisher or something :)

Whoa. Okay, this is sick. Only thing missing is the doom attack and the chain/whip attack, but otherwise that's basically a playable Mysterious Figure. If that's allowed online anywhere imagine the panic it'd cause players.

I def thought this would get implemented into his main key blades transformation, since you mentioned you had something in mind for it. I like the idea of it being standalone and its certainly going to be interesting to see how the finalized version will play out. Regardless, great job you always seem to impress me with these mods especially the PE update, freaking love it. I would love to see even more characters get their own treatment just like this.

I'm pretty impressed that you managed to make this MF battle style from scratch! Imagine if the Tornado could just temporarily disable the opponent's moves... And also the doom web that would work like Dark Haze from BBS.

Best I can do is stun non boss enemies for tornado. As there’s no such thing as a “confused” state of any sort. Doom is just impossible because there’s no way to make the attackdata differentiate between regular enemies and bosses so a oneshot would be way too op

I have an idea for Doom, could it be an attack that inflict huge amount of damage (2 or more hp bars), but you have to remain still for at least five seconds (or more) and not be hit by your enemy, do you think it's possible?

I see, I was definitely not expecting the formchange energy blade to be a weapon on its own, but I can dig it. By the way I'd recommend checking out the channel "Lead Me Into Everylasting Darkness" which has done a more literal take on playable bosses. Who knows, there might be something in there that could benefit your own mod.

Putting all of his stuff in 1 keyblade would have limited it severely. Even over 2 keyblades i can barely fit all the stuff he does over the course of 3 games. Some stuff is still missing from his movesets cause there’s just not enough space

It’s possible but bbs animations are very hard to convert to usable state. Also X blade Vanitas has the same moves as regular Vanitas safe for the dash as far as I remember

@@lordnightblaster oh yeah that’s the same mod. Last showcase was over kingdom key. This one is elemental encoder . Hooded YX is just a skin I used for this video . It’s not in the actual mod. Might add it as an alternative skin later on.

The hooded model is just an alt skin. His first keyblade is regular yx keyblade . This is over elemental encoder though so you’ll have both when you start a new game.

Was trying to figure out if my mod was broken or if this was outdated and im sad to see you decided to replace the energy blade with a duplicate keyblade and the hood doesnt even come on anymore, I asked about it on nexus and am waiting for a response to clarify but if this form had its model/keyblade changed thats just sad to me

Only the base form cause it made more sense this way. And the hood NEVER came on. What you see in the video is his monsters inc model which has the hood on. I just changed the model for the video. If you play in monsters inc or use a mod to change the world form you will be able to have the hood on aswell

@Kurasanick oh the hood is world specific as well that makes sense, thank you so much I was searching for clarification for like an hour Mysterious figure is an awesome throwback for me because I just played the KH2 mod "Nobody may cry" and mysterious figure with the hood on is totally like a form out of that mod Not sure about the situation on the extremis as well but I'm dumb and I can already tell I'm gonna mix up No Name and Extremis all the time, not only because of that but I also saw the single light blade the base form used to demo the mod in the pasy and thought it was dope, but if that isn't coming back it is what it is. makes sense to have more forms without keyblades though since it adds diversity, your ansem and xemnas forms are already in the right direction but changing extremis to something else would be preferable for me, guess I might sound dumb though I'm not sure how many keyblades have doppelgangers since the vanitas one does too, I'm just a fan of variety and your mod is bringing a ton so I hope I'm not sounding bothered because your mod is basically perfect as it is, i just need more of those bladeless forms, I think that's my kick

@Kurasanick my bad I didn't mean it like that really there's only one with a hood, and it's called "bladeless", while I imagine all these forms can reak as much havoc the playstyle on that one was very specific to Magic and just attacking infront of you, I definitely wasn't trying to say that mod compares its old hardware and its restricted by storage (it shows in the 3 forms they can fit) but if you pair the 2 it's like playing through the series again in the edgeist way possible, only reason I mentioned it is the order of the games and how I'm getting the nostalgia and fantasy i wanted from both, your mod clearly takes more work especially when it reflects on storage comparisons, keep up the good work you're making childhood fantasies come true

It was more about balance, viability and usefulness than anything else . The move targets only 1 enemy and is an instakill.
