Actually the spell she put on her would guide her heart to someone she cared about when she was in danger. That is why when Destiny Islands was attacked by the darkness her heart went to Sora for safekeeping. I love that connection that was made in this game.

You can't really "feel" time in the realm of darkness, because there's nothing to denote any passage of time, there's no sun so you can't count the days, and clocks don't work. Aqua says in the beginning of 0.2 "There's no 'time' in the realm of darkness. I wonder, with every step here do days or years pass in the realm of light" She had no idea how long she'd been there until Mickey told her.

I don't see why time simply can't be replaced by some other quality in the realm of darkness. It just simply exists infinitely without that dimension, but still remains in parallel to a dimension with time. This is just a hypothesis so there's no need to consider this seriously. I just think it's cool trying to imagine how a timeless place and a place with a time dimension coexist and interact.

12 years of waiting, RoD affects her. Mickey was too late to save her, but I have some doubts , if Aqua can sense them, that's mean she's the new protagonist of the game. If Mickey found Aqua (like in KH0.2) I don't think that Aqua is norted, He quoted that "I follow this warm feeling of light and I found you".That means she has a light on her heart and that's basically her own phantom. Of course the Roxas, Xion, and Axel fanboys will cry that Days was the saddest game. It really wasn't. Nothing bad happened to those characters. Roxas and Xion accepted their fates and rejoined with Sora, while Axel inevitably died trying to bring them back (which doesn't mean anything at all because Lea comes back and remembers everything when he was a nobody). Terra gets completely screwed by Xehanort. Lost his father figure, lost his friends, lost his body and (almost) his heart. Ven has been stuck in a coma for ten plus years by himself with no one protecting him. Aqua is stuck in KH hell and suffers mentally from the darkness trying to get to her. It's a no brainer when comparing the characters' fates from both games. BBS is more screwed up than Days. The BBS characters actually have a legit reason to be saved and all play a vital part in the story while Days' characters are obviously going to be brought back due to fanservice seeing as they kept Axel alive *three* times already. He was supposed to be dead in CoM, then in KH2's prologue, then near the end of KH2, and is now brought back as Lea, all because he was a favorite amongst the fans and even the creators.

Kingdom080500 I don't really care about xion its just the fact that in days they couldn't do anything to stop what happened with them. in bbs if terra and ventus did what they were suppose to ALL this wouldn't happen. Also bbs is kinda disconnected from the story (yeah ik all the games are but until kh3 it's kinda far out). in days they alone found out the organization was evil but even ventus after being forced to fight unversed and had the darkness extracted from him, xehanort basically told terra darkness couldn't be controlled, and when they all met up in radiant garden Aqua failed to bring ven back. In days axel had to get xion back to the organization and he did while still trying to protect her. I really like both games its just that in bbs it all could be avoided

I love the environmental storytelling in 0.2 BbS. “The bridge collapsed as the clock advanced. If only I made it in time...” Aqua wishing she could rewind time and prevent everything, while knowing full well it was only a matter of time and there was little she could do to prevent it. Xehanort played his cards well and accounted for everything, all while hiding in plain sight. She couldn't have known.

yeah, if they wanted to keep the continuity, Instead of letting Mickey tell her about both Sora and Riku, they could have had Aqua tell her story about being on the island then had the island shake, making the situation more urgent as they needed to get the keyblade quickly. She could still learn that Riku is working hard to keep the darkness back by having her help keep the swarm from reaching Riku, then hearing that Sora is the one saving the worlds from Ansem... just one small change, 10 seconds cut to keep continuity.

ACTUALLY that x blade was incomplete to begin with. It was shattered long before that. The one in BBS was synthesized by Xehanort via the battle between Vanitus and Ven. The true seven lights of the X Blade are the seven princesses of heart. The dark pieces? Who knows? The only way to make a COMPLETE X Blade, thirteen darknesses must clash with seven lights. Vanitus and Ventus were just one of each. This is enough to make it appear, but not enough to complete it.

People seem to really love Aqua character, and I can see why, but personally, she didn't really click for me. Compare to her two friends, Aqua doesn't have any fault of her own, she's a capable fighter, she has good intention, and she hardly ever make a wrong decision(even with her spying on Terra turn out to be justify since he did tempted by the darkness). She also fall to a trope of being a 'reactionary', every action or decision she made was a respond to the others' story. I wish they had put more of Master Eraqus' conflict in Aqua's story, maybe have her misplace her trust in her Master too much that she didn't see what bad decision he was making. Hell, maybe have her deliver Ventus to Eraqus as his order!(she didn't know he was going to kill Ven, maybe he told her that he would 'help' Ventus, or something.), then only heard later that Ven would have been dead if not because Terra intervened. Aqua is a good person, great even, and her story is tragic, yes, but because she was a victim of the villains, unlike her two friends, who, while also a victims of Xehanort, did made some bad decision of their own that lead to their downfall. I guess you could argue that Aqua was suppose to be the 'Adult' of the trio, and that her story was the most tragic because she was the only sensible person that didn't do anything wrong, but have to suffer the fate of isolation the Realm of Darkness. But to me, I would've prefer the charter that was the victim, and the criminal.
