If you haven't yet seen the original (1968, featuring Charlton Heston), it's well worth seeing. Then you can appreciate the Easter eggs in Kingdom. :-) Plus, the original's fantastic. Beneath's worth seeing afterwards, and before Kingdom, too.

@@kevincobble934 What did you not like about it? Beneath was creative. Too many sequels are dull but Beneath wasn't. It was suspenseful, too. Granted, it lacked Roddy McDowell, but many folks didn't notice the difference. And there was jut enough Charlton Heston in there to thrill fans of the original movie. That said, the movie's perhaps an "acquired taste" meaning one has to adapt one's senses to appreciate it adequately. I found it depressing when I first viewed it. I had no idea (as a kid) that there could nevertheless be more Apes movies. Thank you Dr. Milo. :-)
