I feel like the gorilla will be our main antagonist of this film, considering a recent trailer that includes a “final scene” sort of flood with Noah fighting a gorilla, which to my eyes seems like the gorilla we see primarily hunting the girl, who has somewhat been dubbed “nova” by Noah in the extension of that hunt scene. I do think Proximus would be an incredible multi-film antagonist, considering he generally had his very own trailer. Overall still hyped for this seemingly incredible film

Since Director Wes Bell has taken inspiration from Hayao Miyazaki’s style for directing the Legend of Zelda movie after this, my hope it has a well established relationship of Link x Princess Zelda’s relationship (where started out at best of friends in the beginning until their journey evolves them into be lovers) and a new iteration of them traveling hyrule together. Plus, make an original story similar to what the Super Mario Bros Movie has done build by complement and passionate writers, Princess Zelda becomes a great companion to Link, established the Zelda Lore and mythology, other abilities the Master Sword has, provided Ganondorf enough character background ( one where we can all understand the iconic gaming villain’s intentions, how we should hate him and feared of him as the Gerudo King slowly becomes the Demon King), etc.

Anyone who’s seen the original movies (from the 60’s) knows that the answer to “can apes and humans live together?” is no. And if these movies are still building to that future as they’ve been implying knows how this moive is going to end. Honestly I’m a little bummed, I was hoping we were done with the humans and they wouldn’t have anything significant to contribute until Taylor arrived, but it looks like they just can’t help themselves. Hopefully, since this is the start of a new trilogy, we will finally get a movie that’s just apes, and humans are just animals in the background. That would be original and interesting finally seeing a functioning ape society.
