I came to the same conclusion. First tried a mix of melting furnace, some mage towers, some skeleton archers. Didn't work and realized that everyone has armor. So knew I needed to focus on mage towers. Tried a mix of towers. Didn't work. Tried the shaman towers. Tried the fire mage tower. Finally tried the mausoleum & it worked. Few possessions. Few gargoyles at the end. I did have 3 skeleton archers for those mages that give enemies armor.

I basically did the same however I had 3 mage towers near the gates and teleported a bunch of them back, and it worked but the mausoleums did the bulk of the job. I tried this level at least 15 times, with all kinds of tower combinations.

The chasers cannot jump on units close to the exit. So they are forced to ignore them. His reinforcements are throwing things because he has the spear upgrade unlocked.

Didn't work for me. Teleport was too slow & didn't take them back far enough. for some reason the mausoleum took down enemies quicker even with the lava fissure area damage on the fire tower

That's a problem with your device. KZbin videos not working is mainly an update or OS issue. I wouldn't assume it was the author's fault.
