Your gameplay of these stages is ingenious! The barracks use is especially impeccable (placing them at the perfect distance from the exits so that the grunts can’t use their jumping ability on them). And you do it with barely any micromanagement. The apparent calmness of your playstyle is also very interesting. You almost never call waves early, and you never rally or upgrade frantically. You always have a plan, so frantic saves and plays are unnecessary. I was most impressed by your strategy on Magnicia Shores. It may have looked like obvious spam, but the thought processes that went into that level are anything but obvious. A few of those thought processes might be: the aforementioned use of barracks (except with Gargoyles and reinforcements in this case); the spreading out of magic damage across the map to mitigate the lack of artillery rather than concentrating in one area early on; and the early blockading of Infusers to make sure shielded Guardians and infused Amphiteres don’t become a problem. You just boil down stages with simple (but profound) strategic principles so easily. Incredible. The only nitpick I have is that your use of the hero is rather suboptimal. There are many instances where you waste or just don’t even use Spider Bite (and you sometimes let her stall when she actually should be shooting crossbow bolts instead) when it could be used to remove a problematic large enemy. Also, you almost never make use of her damage shield properly. It can be used to draw ranged attackers’ fire away from units and to stall strong enemies long enough to Spider Bite them. For example, just imagine how much more effective your reinforcements at 7:01 would have been if you had blocked the Erudites’ initial barrages with Asra’s shield (if you hadn’t wasted it on the last wave’s Crystal Demolisher, of course). Instead, you were pushed back considerably by the Erudites and Asra even died. The crazy thing is that all these nitpicks just speak more about your amazing strategic skill; you don’t even need a hero! Definitely earned a sub from me.

Mike L Well, on KZbin, it’s a rare sight. I did it a while ago. I agree, though, Murasaki is amazing.

Mike L Right after beta testing. I was a tester, but my best run during testing was 17 lives. My strategies are much less clean than his, though (even where I got NLL it was dicey).

You can do it! Use different towers like Spectral Mausoleum Gargoyles.
