Димашон заворожит кого угодно! То, какую работу он делает выстраивая песню - физическую, эмоциональную и интеллектуальную - говорить уже не надо, это великолепная, филигранная работа! I watched the entire season of "Singer 2017" and all of the other contestants were very welcoming to Dimash. He was away from his country and his family for several months, did not speak their language and very little English at the time...They all treated him like family and called him little brother...Dimash is very good friends with many of them still today! It's a great show with lots of great talent...I highly recommend!

You should see him now. Even more brilliant. The singer was 3 years ago and Dimash has improved tremendously! His voice has matured beautifully. Dimash is loved not only because of his talent. He is very humble and mature for his age. He's only 26 years old. He's tall too. He's 6'3". I recommend you to watch some of his interviews.

Dimash shows yet another side of his ability to adapt to the lyrics, and no longer be a singer, but a storyteller. You can FEEL the emotion through his vocals. Yes, Dimash came in 2nd place. He was the first non-Chinese competitor on the show, and they couldn't let him win. It wouldn't look good. Dimash said he hoped to finish in the top 10, but in the end, he was the biggest winner of all. You don't hear about any of the other competitors going on world tours, do you? And yes, there was so much flak from his fans, a foreigner (Jessie J) WAS allowed to win in 2018. Looking forward to your next Dimash "experience"!!!

That was a tough competition. You had to convince 500 audiences for 14 weeks and 14 different songs. However, Dimash established his goal which was he wanted people to hear HIS MUSIC. Thanks for the great reaction to my #1 favorite Dimash song.

Think about this..........he is singing this song to the Chinese people. Can you imagine the conviction of hearts about this story of a woman that loved them so much she hid her identity to be a part of them? Dimash is a gift from God sent to teach us love and how music is really meant to be. For me music is going the wrong direction and he is bringing to back to a wonderful direction. He was born to sing if you hear his family talk about the first time he heard music what he did. He is humble and loves every person he sings for. He is a wonderful person. A masterpiece that no Japanese and Chinese singers could ever hope to top. Composed and sung by Japanese and covered by many Chinese singers. Dimash's Singer 2017 of this song eclipsed all others. I've watched the original version in Japanese as well as no less than three other Chinese singer's versions ofthis song....all of them great but Dimash's is THE MASTERPIECE. Officially Dimash came second in Singer 2017, throughout the world, to home and online audiences unofficially Dimash is without a doubt the winner here.

If you look more closely into it you will find out Dimash came in 2nd to a local Chinese woman singer who went into the competition very well known and very well liked. I think, even she would admit that Dimash was the true winner. But, he received the publicity he needed and will always be grateful to the Chinese for giving him the opportunity to perform on The Singer Show.

It got me emotional AGAIN. Guys, this song is sung by Dimash at almost every concert and every time is a bit different version and each and every is PERFECTION. I love it, I cry when I hear him, it´s just pure beauty. I recommend watching some other versions as well.

Great reaction guys. When you react to "Daididau" & "Daybreak" they also have very important true back-stories on Gloria Wu channel. Some reactors like to watch the Gloria Wu channel versions first then straight after watch his "Bastau" concert version straight after. After his amazing success in "The Singer" series, the Kazakhstan Government decided to sponsor his first solo concert in Bastau in front of 35,000 people. I think you'd both really enjoy this idea especially as Dimash was ill when he sang "Daybreak." 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Yes, Dimash won 2nd place and I understand why. Besides the fact that Dimash is the best singer in the world, Dimash is a man with a giant heart. When he flew to this show, he initially said that for him there was no difference which place he won. Maybe we don’t know a lot of things, but most likely he did the same as he did on the World Best. There is a story on KZbin when Dimash was ill during the show, the doctor told him to be home. And he still went to the show because he was very worried about his friend who also participated in the competition. He quit the World Best show because he found out that he was competing against two young children, one of whom was his very good friend, although his condition for signing the contract was that the children would not participate in the competition. He left the World Best to give the children a chance to win. In China, people had to be without ears so as not to give Dimash first place. But the day after the first song, in the morning, Dimash woke up as China's biggest star.5.000000 views on the Chinese version of KZbin per day. Guards had to be assigned to him. Given his words when he flew to the show, I have every reason to believe that Dimash asked for 2nd place to give his Chinese friend a chance to win the first.

Yes, unfortunately he didn't win. But he did win the world after all. This show is the reason we all know him now, so I am thankful he joined that competition. You should definitely check out the original by Koji Tomaki also. His cry voice is hauntingly beautiful and he doesn't have that fantastic run Dimash added to his version but it's still just epic. Nice reaction. Yes he came in second. He was the new kid on the block and the top spot went to a veteran female Chinese singer. Winning is secondary to him as his main goal was to promote and present himself and share his music to a new and larger audience outside of his country.

Dimash is an extraordinary operatic singer and his repertoire is as diverse as are his superior vocal abilities. To me, he excels most particularly in his supercharged emotional sad songs, where he easily tears up my broken heart. This one here is one of these romantic songs that makes you cry and that i am addicted to. Go figure why i like to torture myself! If you listen to “Daybreak “ which is based on a true story of a child whose parents sacrificed their lives to save their child, sung from the child’s view, you’ll hear again the truth of Dimash’ emotions and talent. Also, “Samaltau”, Tokyo Jazz 2020, is even closer to Dimash. The song is again based on a true story of a young Kazakh man, conscripted by the Czar in 1917 to fight for Russia and is forced to leave his home.
