Catching green eye squid and bonito for bait. Then Anchor and burley for great results.

with the floating chunks of pilchard, do you leave the bail arm open or do you let out a lot of line then close the bail arm and have the rod sit with the bail arm closed.

I let alot of line out at start then flip the bail arm 👍

You want to catch big flathead go to Bobbin Head up past the marina below Duffys Forest.Cowan waters great fishery and clean .Also hairtail in the cooler months.Have you found bloodworms near Woy Woy?My best bait are shrimp two on a hook back to back best spots near fish cleaning areas with fine mesh net.Bloodworms dig with gravediggers hoe near mangroves or fork 90 degrees to handle both great baits not sure if legal to dig bloodworms.
