Well done Nev 2 kingies from a yak to quote you “are you kidding me” great angling skills again. You are taking us on a next level fishing trip what fantastic content, even the dreaded seal, it’s part of fishing the port. I’m glad they have only nicked my yakkas at crib point taking a kingfish would kill me. You demonstrate the stealth of the kayak, surrounded by boats some noisily underway and some drifting with waves noisily lapping away at the hulls yet the yak is silent death. I know where you are fishing gutsy effort in a yak but you also showed us all caution and knowledge of the water way and called it a day. I'm watching this and getting anxious that the line does't break, the seal goes away, squirming if a shark may come and then, the magic of netting them. Then my wife's yelling " why'd he throw em back?". What should I tell her? She said If I did that I would be slapped with her sandals. I think she got caught up in the moment. It's a good video if you can create that emotion Nev. Well done.

Both times you caught the kingfish I was worried about hooks still in the fish and kept looking for the trailing hooks, I was worried that you would get hooked if the fish suddenly kicked and jerked. I was glad I didn't see any trailing hooks.

I am so jealous up here in Sydney we have not normal weather hasn’t stopped raining for the passed to months. Haven’t hooked up to a king yet and the biggest king you will get in Sydney harbour is 1 meter but most of them are not even legal. Great job nev!

I really take my hat off to you young fella ( I'm old enough o be your Dad) - good to see you getting out instead of wasting time on TikTok etc. When I was in my teens - I spent EVERY weekend either fishing or spearfishing around Sydney Harbour and Shelly Beach ( before it was marine Park. ) Used to fish/spearfish from Luna Park thru to Royal Sydney Yacht club in Sydney Harbour. Even in the coldest Winter days we would spearfish. Keep it up mate, and can't wait to see you grow and get a big boat//4WD and start touring. I reckon you should start flyfishing mate, and also see if you can do some "collabs" with older more "influential" YTubers. Your content and style etc is excellent. Don't copy everyone else - just do your own thing and find your niche and angle....There are too many "copycat" YTubers that do the "exact" same content, with half nude partner, catch n cook, living alone, survival 24hrs with nothing etc- boring AF. Keep going mate, good luck.

We had a lot of bronze whalers spotted in ppb clifton springs area this year. There mostly 6-7ft long about 120-160kg, there was one 2.6m caught there as well. I dare you to hook one of them on the kayak 😂. There becomes a point and interesting where you couldn't apply enough drag and it will tow you around for a few hours. Any info on the area in western port? I am not the biggest fan of the rip in ppb it gets super choppy like a washing machine makes you feel sick.
