Great review! I bought one last year in May @ Tompkins Hardware in Emo, Ontario...had to wait till August to pick it up...(Covid)...(I live in Kansas)...It came with a Yamaha 175 w/power assisted cable steering...(wich I replaced with hydraulic & added a battery iso cable)...Long story short, I have about 30 more days work before it goes in the water! Your review was very helpful in making my decision ... Thanks!.. PS have many work pics if you are interested.

I know this guy pretty well, if he says a product is worth buying, I'd buy it. I love how the drivers area has enough room to swivel the seat and jig without the windshield being too in the way. That's a way better design than many boats. I'd love a KingFisher some day.

I like the diamond plated rails for sure. The nav lights on the harbour craft are below the rails so they don’t mess with your night vision 👍 Amen for full spray skirts. Not crazy for those external rod holders, gear is too expensive to leave hanging outside the boat 😉

@@After5Outdoors just bought last week my first boat. 40 tears old alumna craft 12 ft jon boat with a much newer trailer in great condition and a like new condition yamaha 4 strike 4hp outboard. Boat is in good condition too. I will paint it just to change the look of it and ad some seat cushions and build a small platform by the bow. The only real upgrade it could be either a on the fly jack plate or some float pods attached to transom. Being new to this sport, I am not even sure which way to go. Any thoughts? Keep in mind that this boat might just be around for top 2-3 years. I will probably upgrade to a 16ft by then. Kids getting big enough to fish by themselves in top 3 years. Thank you again.
@After5Outdoors3 жыл бұрын
I guess I probably wouldn't invest a whole lot into a small boat you won't be using for very long. My best advice is to set aside a little money each month if possible to upgrade. 12 ft is pretty small, I've got a 1436 alumacraft Jon, I wouldn't want to think about trying to fish out of it. It is my duck hunting boat. With that said, I don't know what kind of water that you fish with it. Most water I fish is pretty large and would sink my 1436 most days.
