In regards to your plug.. you dont have to put the retainer back on the plug.. it works without it.. just be aware when you are disassembling, when you point the gun down the plug will fall out when the mag cap is off..

Ok, I've only needed to take the plug out once. I plan on probably retiring this one and getting an A400. There is alot of sentimental value to this gun. And I've had a couple times now where it's been broken in half, and at the bottom of the lake. It's taken every bit of abuse

I’ve been looking around for a good gun. Do you think it’s worth it to get a gun that takes 3 1/2 inch shells or is 3" enough for most uses. I will be shooting goose sometimes.
@After5Outdoors2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I've not owned a 3 1/2 until this past year when I bought a Beretta A400. I probably will never shoot 3 1/2 inch shells through it. But it ultimately depends on the situations you hunt in. If you need a little extra range, then it may be worth it. I hunt quite a bit of different situations and so far, I don't think the 3 1/2 would benefit me for the extra cost. Hope this helps you out!
@jimf19642 жыл бұрын
@@After5Outdoors Yeah, thanks. I’ve only ever hunted small game, so I don’t know about water fowl. I know even 2 3/4 would be good enough for ducks. I’ve spoken to some people who even use 20gauge for ducks sometimes, but I’m really interested in getting some geese too, and I’ve heard bbs sometimes bounce off them, so I was thinking I would need it. But I guess if it was that important, there would be a lot more with them, right?
@After5Outdoors2 жыл бұрын
When it comes to duck hunting, I use 3 inch #2. Geese are tough birds. I hate wounding them, that's why I like the 3 inch BBs.
