I didn't realize that was how these videos were being made... It's almost idiotic if not careless ... Sadistic maybe? I mean ... How could you NOT be essentially torturing these babies by slowly killing them in an agonizing feeling of starvation withering away kind of way.... I was thinking the same thing at first but the channel author said that he feeds them and I think that's right. Otherwise most of them would have been starved to death. The feeding of the birds by the mother is very half-assed for the reasons you mention but because the channel author feeds them well who cares? But yeah it's kind of silly.@@unchaineDLife

You are confusing the chicks with the light through the hole you dug, the same hole where they could fall from and die if not attended to. Now, their parents are having a hard time feeding them. Chances are, not all chicks will be able to eat well because of the stupid thing you did. Look, only three of them are left because four of them have already fallen down from their nest. My goodness!
