On top of that, its been a while since Tekken 8 released Lidia which should tell people that we may be on the cusp of Heihachi's return to Tekken 8. 9:40 A lot of the female cast are under the age of 30 physically, Kazumi was mid twenties when she died. In T8 Nina is 44 but due to her cryogenic sleep her body is that of a 29 year old. With Jun there are supernatural elements at play which could be keeping her youthful appearance. The female characters that had no gimmicks to keep them young like Julia Chang who is now in her 40s they just swap out. We don't get wrinkles on the female characters because none of those naturally aged characters are active, heck in T7 they did the with kunimitsu as they did with Julia, created a younger character to hand down the mantle to

50:03 That's exactly why I dont play as much anymore. I was so close to Tekken King but because the rank system is design to make you fail and fall I just stopped at Bushin after I lost "war", as you said, and been playing quick match just to finish the stupid battle pass. The ranked system is super frustrating.

I played the hell outta j stars victory vs. I don't care what anyone says. The game was peak😭😭. Also, I suggest ya'll watch the other matches because there's about 24 minutes of gameplay with different characters(gin has sauce tho, and yes, they released gameplay during a stream or something like that so he's not getting in trouble)

The creator of Bleach (Tite Kubo) used Yoruichi. To answer Jae's question (and probably yours too) about not using regular health bars, the "9" that each character starts with is a gauge for souls. You have to destroy your opponents souls, aka 'Konpaku.' You can use unique attacks called "Zankensoki" to deplete your opponents Reishi Gauge (the gauge(s) underneath the souls gauge). Depleting one gauge of Reishi will take away one soul from your opponent. So far, it seems like special attacks called "Kikon" moves, will take away 3 souls from your opponent every time you use it EXCEPT for when you are in an awakened state. In the awakened state, "Kikon" moves will take away 4 souls. As you've guessed it, take away all souls from your opponent, and you win! That being said, I CAN'T wait for this game!

Not sure if you agree with this Mike, but while I love that Heihachi is back and alive, I don't think I ever wanted to see him as DLC. For starters, he'll get that infamous Bandai Namco DLC powercreep. Happened to Smash 4, Ultimate, Tekken 7, and even to some extent Eddy and Lidia got some major cheese with their DLC return. Mishima as DLC? Heihachi of all characters? I bet they aren't afraid of making him really OP or something more devastating in his moveset that Reina and Kaz don't have. And with the way things look, are all DLC just gonna be Tekken 7 returnees? Am I gonna have to pay to play as Miguel, Chloe, or Marduk when S2 rolls in? It was cool back in Tekken 7 because we were getting back a lot of legacy characters but we don't have Bruce, Dr. B, or even Wang back yet! Is Tekken 8 gonna really make me pay for the next 4-6 years for the SAME roster I got in Tekken 7? Nothing new?

Harada deserves all the heat. I blame him for the sustained state of the current game. We want to make the game great for spectators...so naturally Dragunov mirror matches in finals all the time is AWEEEESSSSSOME 🙄 Its not like Dragunov is clearly above all others. They did the correct thing with the emergency patch in T7 for Leroy Jenkins cause he was ridiculous, but 🦗 now? A more evenly competitive cast makes for more character specialists that make your game better for spectators... For f's sake perma ban pluggers and cheaters, you should be able to find out who is guilty of this. Drop the predatory point system or run the risk of both Capcom and potentially SNK justifiably surpassing you. Lastly I know its probably not easily doable but if possible let us possibly chose the characters we want to fight for us to better have matchup knowledge? You could potentially reward less points or no points for this so players do not potentially abuse the system 🤷

Love videos like these. Ancient Ogre to me looks like a Tag 2 model. It does not look like it was a Model made for 8 but yeah Ancient Ogre would be awesome winter DLC. Guest Character Wishlist - Ash Williams, Akira, Scorpion, Marcus Fenix and Blade Wesley Snipes which are very unlikely lol. I don't know how difficult it is for Bandai Namco to get the rights to add Ronald Mc Donald to the game. Everyone knows Ronald Mc Donald, This is perfect for Tekken. It will bring millions to the game. I feel I agree with Jae, I dislike Tekken 8. Yes there is a strong disconnect between the developers and real Tekken fans

Very true, yes indeed! Once they make tekken 9 and replace the heat system with cold, Rondald Mcdonland as a base roster character would really help tekken 9 get on it’s feet and outperform street fighter 7 i think

@@Elitheone101 lmao. Harada wanted to add Colonel Sanders to Tekken many years ago. Ronald Mc Donald is a much better choice. I think we will get a mad crossover game before Street Fighter 7. I have to say I think MK1 SF6 and T8 all suck. I love fighting games. But these ones really do suck. There's no real connections from developers to real fighting game fans. They love to f around and not give us exactly what we want. I am tried of their BS. So I don't play their games. They truly love to piss fans off and f around.

Yea I getcha In all seriousness though I don’t enjoy the ranked blender in t8 anywhere near as much as i did improving my game day by day in t7, there’s no long sets outside of private lobbies, no tournament mode despite hyping it up before release, and the character customisation with all the mtx and battle pass shit is just cuckery at it’s finest I’m extremely grateful my friends share a similar sentiment so we can play 7 and go back to only complaining about rage arts and powercrush lol

I still have a stick in my rear for Heihachi but I earnestly think it's for good reason. My issue with Heihachi is that if they were going to kill the story impact of Tekken 7, not do anything cool with his redesign like Nightmare Heihachi or Devil Heihachi, waste Reina (I didn't really like her anyways but she was probably the closest thing we had to a stand-in), AND release him Season 1 anyways.... He should have just been in the base roster. That's my entire problem with it. It feels not only "cheap" in every way, but I feel like it's just being glossed over that Harada and Team Tekken once again omitted mainstay cast members and then fleeced their own audience at a later date. But they did it with Heihachi this time, which is unacceptable in my book. Heihachi isn't really comparable to someone like Bison or Akuma because Bison actually does get left out of every other Street Fighter game and that tracks in Capcom's allstar fighting games like vs. SNK and vs. Marvel while Akuma has consistently been a "bonus" character either through DLC, new versions or as a secret in general and has never been consistently available. Heihachi though has been in every mainline Tekken game and the series experienced flak when he was (seemingly) missing. But Ryu? Ryu has been in EVERY game. If Capcom had the gall to charge players money to have Ryu as DLC people would be losing their f***ing minds. Tekken just sorta gets away with it because they're gotten very good at using corporate-speak to pull one over on their own audience, so when I hear people try and excuse this as "Oh it's good because Heihachi is back and we need Heihachi in the game", I HAVE to press them with "Then why wasn't he in the game to begin with. Why are you okay with them slapping additional price tags on Heihachi. If he should be in every game, why WASN'T he". It's like when that stuff gets said, it's an admittance that the devs took advantage of them. "Oh, but they couldn't have just brought him back IMMEDIATELY because of story reasons", uuuh, clearly not. Clearly the "story" reasons didn't f***ing matter either considering they blew their load at the FIRST jerk. No matter what angle I look at this from, Tekken players got scammed and some people are just straight up OKAY with that. And the sad part is between the Battle Pass and general DLC practices between this game and 7, that's not even new. Tekken players are starting to act like Smash Fans where one moment they will be correctly and righteously enraged at their parent company, but then that company will jingle some keys in their faces and everyone just immediately goes back into subservient monkey-mode where they forget past drama and latch onto "New Thing". I mean they sold frame data for christ's sake.
