KZbin recommended this video to me (as a Sakura fan, I guess) and I decided to watch it, as I like hearing people telling the story in their own unique ways. I must say that, while it is well edited and the storytelling's rhythm sounds great, I do have to say that you got the order of the events and some information a bit wrong... Although I might sound like a hater, and I apologize in advance, I couldn't help it and I had to write a comment about it... There IS a movie in the Cardcaptor time (that should go in between episodes 35 and 36, I might be wrong there, but I know it's in the middle of the first "era"), but it is one located in Hong Kong. The Sealed Card movie (the one with the last Clow Card) goes AFTER the Sakura Cards time. This can be seen in the cards that she uses, which have the Sakura Cards' appearance, and the "heart" card that Sakura created at the end of the series fuses with the "nothing" one in the movie... The climatic event that puts an end to the Clow card parts is the battle against Yue, one of the cards' guardians (which is not mentioned at all, I must say, although the story around him is quite important in the series). Also, in the Clear Card first season (as there is going to be a second one soon), she doesn't know she is the one who creates them (that is a manga spoiler). Akiho's book is not called Sealed book, but "Alice in the Clockland" (she named it herself). They don't "get into the secrets of the book", because they haven't actually been around it much (Sakura has only seen it once) and no one can read it (only Akiho can, and not even completely). Lastly, Syaoran and Sakura's relationship deepens but it is not one of admiration anymore: it's one of mutual love, as they know how the other feels (they confessed their feelings to one another before Clear Card: Syaoran, at the end of the original series; and Sakura, at the end of the second movie). I have seen some of your other videos before posting this comment and I do think you have been doing great content. I tried to write this in the best way I could without being perceived as just hater, but communication is not my best skill... So I apologize if I came across as discouraging or anything, that wasn't my intention at all.

The movie where Sakura captures The Nothing actually is set after the Sakura Cards Arc, otherwise it wouldn't make much sense Syaoran confessing his love for Sakura in the movie and this still being a major plot point during Sakura Card Arc. In the manga Syaoran confesses his love for Sakura the day after the final battle with Eriol. It makes Sakura conflicted about her feelings, but in the end she hurriedly makes a teddy bear for Syaoran and delivers it to him as he's already in the bus going home, at the same time she confesses her love while Syaoran promises he will be back. In the anime Syaoran confesses just after the battle with Eriol (in the battlefield), Sakura is shown to be conflicted in the final episode, but she doesn't give him a final answer. They postpone the conclusion of this love arc in the second movie about The Nothing card.

I remember watching the original Cardcaptors back in 2002 and I did started to like this series from Nelvana I just wished it's finally released onto SDBD Blu-Ray at last just like Beyblade, Shaman King, Sonic X, Dinosaur King, Saber Riders and the Star Sheriff and Ultimate Muscle.

I hate being that guy but there were some key points missed… As someone mentioned, The Nothing Card is revealed after Season 2. It was a secret card that Clow Reed created to balance the rest of the Clow Cards. In Season 1, there’s the Teacher who is a Priestess with a Powerful Moon Bell. It saves Sakura & Co. a couple times. Then at the end once the original Clow Cards are captured, Sakura’s crush & her brother’s best friend is revealed to be the other Guardian created by Clow Reed named Yue & he is to give Final Judgment to see if Sakura or Syaoran are worthy to be Master of the Clow. Syaoran fails & Sakura almost does but the Teacher comes in & the Moon Bell combined with the Clow Wand turns into the Sakura Wand & overrides Yue’s powers letting her win the Final Judgment. In Season 2, Eriol is half of Clow Reed’s soul reincarnated with his memories & magic. He created challenges for Sakura to deliberately transform the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards & become more powerful than him so she can split his magic between him & the other person who is the other half of Clow’s Soul, Sakura’s Father. Also, Yue’s magic & life is dying during this & to save him, Sakura’s Brother gives up his powers to heal Yue. One of Eriol’s Guardians does try to stop this. Also, Sakura’s new card she creates before the Nothing appears is The Hope Card & when the Nothing combines with The Hope, they become Hope together.
