Think how ridiculous it would be if the African scholar community suddenly decided to go into Europe and re-visualize all the statues and architecture from 1500 on (we won’t talk about ancient Britons ;-) ). The whole reason Egyptology exists is a.) the Rosetta Stone was discovered by Napoleon’s army, and b.) they suddenly realized the civilization they had admired astonishingly was African and their psyche couldn’t take it.

No matter what one thinks, wishes or says, Kemetic (Pharaonic Egyptian) civilization was founded around the Spirit Personages of the Pygmy/Dwarves Ptah and Bes and Imhotep scion of Ptah. These are, indisputably, Africans. Even if one argues that Egyptians are Brownish in colour compared to Nubians, so are Greeks and Romans compared to White Germans and Slavic peoples. And if civilization flowed from White skin, it would flow from Germanics to Greeks and Romans. But civilization flowed from Greeks and Romans north to Blonde Germans etc, like it flowed from Darker Egyptians to lighter Greeks and Romans. Like it flowed from Darker Ptah-Bes-Imhotep from deeper Africa to more Northerly Kemeteu. Logic in this scheme is that Kemetic civilizations originated deep in Africa where the Kemeteu said it did. By the way, the colour of Humans like all Mammals obeys the Biogeographical Law of lighter colouredness from Equator to the Poles. Eurasian Egyptologists ignore or don't know of Biogeographical laws.

They are convinced that our race suffers from mental disabilities, educational centers teach about our race based on slave colonialism and absolutely nothing of our advanced prehistoric black ancestors, true developers of humanity. Secondly, this paper provided an excellent KZbin live event for your well-read and seasoned audience members like me (I've been passionately studing this topic for over 30+ years and am excited to see the new generation of folks like yourself getting busy). Finally, needless to say at this point, but I'll say it anyway, you've thoroughly destroyed Mr. Moraes' non-sensical 'forensic' reconstruction of the African monarch Amenhotep III, as well as effectively exposing the dishonest Egyptologist who've supported this farcical and agenda-driven work. Having the likes of the Sun and Daily Mail promote his work, has significantly longer lasting positive effects on his career and earning potential. The Sun and Daily Mail won't be promoting "Ancient Africa: A Global History, to 300 CE" by Ehret anytime soon, since they have no interest in reshaping the cultural and political perspectives applied to Africa and restoring a semblance of sanity. Imagine complaining about black people coming to the UK by boat one day as a headline and then showing your readers what ancient Egyptian Pharaohs looked like the next day and the both groups looked the same! Given that we all know and agree that their isn't a greater legacy left behind by any other civilisation that we can point to today. Hi King, just an interesting remark. at minute 1.21.32 u discuss Brunton's depiction of Amenhotep lll and 'that you dont need a forensic artist to reach....'.. can It be that Moraes himself took that picture of Brunton as ideal, and formed his forensics around that? As to strengthen the scarse, but already available depiction of a white image of the pharao? I personally find that more plausible than one artist using only the art and not the scull, and one artist using not the art and only the scull, would come to the same face.
@kingmono4 ай бұрын
That's entirely plausible. The reason I lean towards it being a reconstruction reached by his own process is because you will see in part 2, the final reconstruction is a face he has created on MULTIPLE occasions, but with very slight variance. In my view, it's a case of facial typism combined with a desire to white amenhotep III that lead him here. Was he aware that he could produce something similar to Bruntons outcome with his process.... I would say, ABSOLUTELY!

I hope the commentary do not be erased this time: 1) Yes, I refuted many of your approaches, again, regarding your tone of certainty. Regarding authority, don't forget that you pointed out a series of issues that we took great care of (such as dental occlusion) and the information on the field of activity was important, to demonstrate that the work is series and used in critical situations, which involves people's lives. Again, these are facts. 2) Wrong, I offered evidence on all approaches, interestingly the fact that you say I appealed to authority is a fallacy, lol. 3) I used that study to demonstrate how the issue of genetics is problematic and the SRT study itself addresses this, so there is nothing wrong with the approach I took. Genetics has always been used in our work, if you access the references you will see this, but since you didn't do it, you don't know. What I demonstrated is that we must be careful with this, see how this is one of the reasons that your arguments were refuted, the level of certainty that you employ in them. And yes, we can do it from the skull if we don't have genetic data, it's a fact. 4) Again, your argument has nothing to do with the objective of the gray scale, the structure of the face is still there. Refuted. 5) Yes, you used a mocking tone on several occasions and as I have discussed before, I have never used terms like "rubbish" or "patethic" to address your work. Another fact. I don't know where you got that I made a U-curve, this highlights problems in interpreting the studies, as the approach remained the same. I'm waiting for your arguments, I hope that this time you were more careful when presenting them.
@kingmono4 ай бұрын
1) appeal to authority. Again. 2) what evidence? You haven't sourced a single study in your refutations just appeal to authority and polemic arguments against studies that you feel don't support you 3) referencing genetic articles is not the same as referencing genetics. I've seen no genetic support to your choices in Amenhotep IIIs reconstruction. 4) now you're not even making sense... objectivity has nothing to do with obscuring the features of the face, it's to do with the tone of the skin and hair not influencing the viewer in terms of ethnicity! This is an example of you arguing in circles rather than admitting your limitations... AGAIN 5) Sometimes you do and say things that are going to spark my sarcasm, like defending an indefensible position, to me when you do such things you cross a line of decency that I expect from professionals and I am forced to deal with your content with much less seriousness. Like the greyscale thing... at this point your defense of it is embarassing.

@@kingmono 1) Not from me, only if it's from you, as I'm referring to your degree of certainty. 2) I have provided several studies, because the articles are full of quotes that I have read and you know it. Refuted. 3) You didn't see it because the article wasn't published. Was this serious or was it a joke? 4) No, it has to do with providing elements from which you have data and in this case, it is the structure. If I add the color, I will be subjective, this is always explained in the articles. Refuted. 5) In other words, it uses a mocking tone, which does not match the approach being discussed.
