You did well taking care of The Kingdom during January... it was a cold month for you, and survival is right, you worked hard to keep everything warm and operational.

I recall the cold helped splitting wood, especially green. We burned everything,used green to slow the burn.
@kingofobsolete47892 күн бұрын
yes the colder then better for an easy split. we don't have much green wood here but lots of wet wood thansk

Mr. Barnes, I have a pair of Interstate batteries in my oldest pickup(1997 Dodge 2500 Cummins)that have been in there since I bought them in 2012. I use a battery tender every once in a while. They both still load test at almost 85% !
@kingofobsolete4789Күн бұрын
yes the older batteries are the good batteries and any new batteries of today's new world are nothing but junk thansk

Hi Rod, Nice to see you. Doing any ice fishing? Get some egg shells and toss them in so you can see the bottom. We did it to spear pike. OK, good going everyone for surviving. Better days are coming. ben/ michigan

Lol, batteries, I have the same problems. Had to replace the battery in truck again, motomaster eliminator AGM, I got exactly 1yr and 1week out of it lol. But now it's only 5yr warranty on the first battery (got 5 months out of that one) so my brand new battery they gave me only has 3.5yr warranty left on a battery that should have a 5yr warranty. The guys behind me in line had the same problem, car on the hoist needed battery changed out, and only one person working the counter at Canadian tire. Maybe with the new tariffs we can build Canadian batteries for Canadian winters.

The electrolyte they put in the batteries seems to be watered down compared to the old days so the batteries freeze easy
