I was curious about Tory criminal history and omg! he fought many people August Alsina, Prince, Travis Scott and pulled a gun on Dax. The crazy part is that all of this was over music. Fights about a beat, a track and diss tracks. He shot Megan for saying something negative about his music. This is just repeat history. I didn't even know that ... someone sent this to me.. I always believed Meg... but there was so much evidence to READ. People just listened to bloggers. AMAZING

I think it’s us women, especially those who’ve been victimized that recognized what Meg was going through. Just like it was us who recognized Amber’s BS in Johnny Depp case and TashaK’s harassment in the CardiB case. If you’ve been through it, you see it. And in the case of Meg, I thought « never cover for them because it won’t end. » Tory is going to learn from doing this in everyone’s face. People are going to think back to the showing up on stage and laughing. To the get bloggers to go after her, etc. And anyone who is real (wasn’t also being paid by him) are going to feel like jerks and learn from this experience of helping the abuser, by pilling onto the victim for 2 years. Hopefully, they won’t do it to the next victim.

It hurt me that I never once heard about the fact that Tory beat Kelsey that night. The photos showed the patch of hair pulled out and the bruises on her arms and legs from when he was pulling her out of the SUV. It’s ridiculous how the community will support undeserving black men but will destroy black women if they do not behave perfectly. Her interview solidified that the relationship between them was NOT what caused the shooting. Kelsey CLEARLY said when the two of them started insulting each other’s careers, that’s when Tory told the driver to stop and told the two of them to get out then he pulled out the gun and started shouting at her. Then proceeded to beat Kelsey as she tried to get away. Look what happened with August. This man acts VIOLENTLY when his ego is hurt he has proved it time after time. The black community needs to admit the values we once had are gone.

Think about the times Tory showed up on stage, at Meg’s concerts, through other performers like “the baby.” That man was on a mission to terrorize Meg, maybe even get her enough mental anguish to off herself. She said she wished he would have just took her out instead of going through the past two years. That’s real thoughts. As a stalking victim who was stalked for over 2 years I remember driving to work and wanting to cross the divider, because I was just so tired of it.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I can somewhat relate because my mom’s ex won’t leave us alone. He shows up every month and sometimes every week to our house uninvited. Sometimes my mom opens the door just so he can stop, but it doesn’t work. He keeps coming back. And sometimes he’ll even go to both of my aunts’ houses to ask about her or harass them. It’s sad and annoying and very stressful. 😣😫I don’t think he’ll stop until my mom passes away. She even said that she doesn’t want him at her funeral.

@@octopussy888 I’m so sorry that your mom went through that. Years later the guy would find out what my kids were doing and show up with another kid at their events. He even tried to befriend my husband after I got married. He befriended my hair dresser and she had the nerve to ask me if I was sure, because he’s such a nice guy. I feel so sorry for your mom to not be able to get away from this guy. It’s unreal how it tears you up mentally when you’re going through so that you feel like there is no end to it.

@@bdhu2001 I’m sorry you went through that too. I hope you find peace in the new year if you haven’t already. They have been broken up for about 17 years now and on her 45th birthday, he showed up with a cake, beer, and some balloons. He was not invited. My aunt thought it was so cute and I was excited to see him even though he never cared about me or my mom. I also didn’t realize that his little stunt was a performance and a distraction. He even gave me a $100 dollar bill. He also has children and when they first broke up, he brought his kids to our house to try to “win her over.” I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s like men with kids, especially daughters, will use them to get what they want from a woman. If a woman says “no”, then it’ll look bad and the kids will feel like they are being rejected as well. So, yeah. That’s what we have had to go through and it’s a bunch of other stuff, but it’s too much to get into.

Being a strong advocate for black woman is not jumping on the "popular" or "mainstream" belief regardless of contradictory evidence.. It is about upholding truth regardless of gender. But you all want jump on the "self pity" black women trend. You want to use one man as an example for others to scare black men. Your stupidity will allow for a continued gender divide amongst black people. I am all for women empowerment - but lies and untruths do not under any circumstance equate to strength. It does exactly the opposite. We can stand up for our empowerment but not like this!

@@ArianaMcCoy You can understand Kelsey not being loyal to Meg???? What?! Why do women do this? Bro code is literally men backing other men up no matter what yet girl code is this counterproductive and very archaic "understanding" that one doesn't impede on another's proximity to men, pursuit of men or male gaze. 🥴🙃 That's beyond remedial because it elevates men above women within the community/sisterhood of women. And it's usually the lowest quality of men y'all put above each other too. Like Tory is a pass around (a lot of men are actually or at least wish they could be). He shouldn't be deemed valuable enough to break a bond between women. He wasn't going to be either of those women's future love of their life or husband. He was just something to do in secret on a Tuesday and both of those women should have treated him as such. We (women) need to wake up and get it together and quickly.

He should have just pleaded and apologized. Then spent the next 2 yrs giving back to his community to causes such as DV and GV, gone to anger management, alcohol support etc. This wouldn't have gone to court but if it did, his defence could have pleaded the emotional/mental anguish he was going through, alcohol and use his work as proof of changed behavior and that could have helped his case. But what did he do after that? Cause more trouble and pathologically lie. I dont feel sorry for him. People like tory need to be taught a lesson otherwise they keep going down the rabbit hole of self distraction and destroying the lives of those around them. I also hope this experience helps him become a better man for his family and community otherwise, he'll be back to jail where he belongs.

It's wild that it took the phone call. Meg seemed so genuinely hurt from all this, plus what did she have to gain from lying? We see women stand up to stuff like this all the time and it ALWAYS brings them grief; no woman, especially a black woman, would willingly put herself in this position. People seem to overlook that. Not me, it happens too often. The cases where women are lying are not as numerous as usually abusive men claim it to be.
