armando1is1great Daylyt is an original battle rapper. Like a throwback to late 80s early 90s rap But with a vastly upgraded lyrical talent See Daylyt has ALWAYS seen the bigger picture. Most battlers, while it IS fire(if you get it), stay with tropes that battle rap will get. Or copy Daylyt or Lux and do an antic. Daylyt knows the mass majority don’t really watch Battle Rap or even listen to Hip Hop like that. So most of his bars are things both the oblivious fan, battle rap fans & hardcore Hip Hop fans can get Which is insane if you really think about it. How he caters bars for his opponent while doing this is crazy. And if you don’t catch how his bars relate to his opponent, really analyze their names and what Daylyt references and is really saying(the double & triple not the surface single entendre). He had a whole NY scheme for ICE and somehow the crowd still says he wasn’t direct lol Bruh is THAT good, it’s honestly Lux level or even higher.

What ppl don’t realize is the way rich came in rapping he never stood a chance on kotd, since kotd has a long history of hating the smack style of rap, and day had been battling over in grind time years before the league became kotd, he knew off the bat what type of style he had to go into to cater to the fans. Just watch daylyt’s battle vs locksmith he was in the exact same position rich dollarz was in in this battle, when you battle on kotd you have to adjust to their format which means you have to come off a little corny. “Bullets is like a funny joke everybody dying”, “two fives on side his face na na na na na,” “Here’s my handle here’s my spout, I’m a little teapot.” Lmao it’s sad but that’s what you gotta do to win on that league, and a lot of ppl call Daylyt corny for them lines. No. He’s actually genius for being able to adapt to their style and be successful as he was on kotd, especially considering where he’s from.
