Here is an approximate translation for my English friends who'd like to know what the French Viking's coach is saying :) 0:52 - 1:36 : "Come on, let me see what you're capable of now, show me. Wait for him. Launch a right next time he steps forward like this. Sweep his leg. Launch a right. Come in with a lifted elbow. Stay calm. Wait for him. Pick him up (note : as you would pick up a flower). Kick his leg. Come in better than that, please, focus. Sweep his foot, kick his leg. Give it a right, a right ! Go on, kick his leg. That's it !" 1:38 - 2:00 : 'Try and push him a little now. This can never happen again Valentin! Kick him off with your right hand. Yes, I know you can hear me. Kick his right hand off. You shall not allow that ever again! Come on! Nice, well done. Don't taunt(/make fun) of him. Show respect! You shall show respect!" 2:02- 2:22 : "That's it. Sweep his hand away. Go on, you're doing well. Back up, back up. We never back up : we gather momentum instead. Stay calm. Try and avoid getting too much low-kicks in your leading leg. Go on. Stay calm, don't get frustrated, that was a good one." 2:29 - 2:58 : "Again. Please go on and please protect your [inaudible]. Try and approach him a little closer. With your left hand. Be patient. Valentin can you hear me ? Now you ought to launch that f*ing right! Quicker. Launch a right. I know you can hear me. Launch a right. Tighten your fist and launch it." 2:58 - 3:55 : "Very good, go on! We're all set. Now speed up a bit please, otherwise we won't be able to move that big bag (note : the opponent). Nicely done. Do the same! The same again! Break his knee! Break his knee! Valentin, you shall never let that happen again please. Again. Enough with that! Low kick! Please, can you use your knee? Use your knee! The knee!! Again. Strangle him. Push him down!" 4:00 - 4:30 : "Valentin, turn over, get back on your feet! Stand up please! Valentin look at me. Stand back up please. Chill, he is the one getting himself tired. There you go. Knee! Knee!! Valentin, try to "escrime"(fence?) him. "Escrime"(?) him." 4:31 - 5:00 : "We're all good. You know what? I'd like it if you could headbutt. Push him, move aside and headbutt. Headbutt! Ok, is he squeezing you too tight? Stay up against the cage. Knee in his nuts. Go on! Launch a knee!!" - "Wait" - "What?" - "He is going to escrime me" - "Wdym? Don't worry, calm down. Are you ok? How are you feeling?" - "I'm fine." 5:06 - 6:25 : "Valentin, please, speed things up. Knock him out! Let's go! Yes! Nice. Quicker! Don't let him escape. Knee. Kick him. Move aside. Move aside and kick him. Yes! Again! That's it! Again Valentin! Hammer! Hammer, please. There you go. Hammer, elbow, hammer, elbow. Valentin, get under, remember how we do it during training. Stretch back your leg. Valentin stretch your right leg please" - "He's holding my pants" - "No, he's only holding his hands together. Otherwise you get back up. Get on your feet. No, get your right arm under his arm. That's it, thanks. Valentin, try to get up and hit with your elbows. Elbows! Valentin, move, go on, you're not tired. He's not going to lift you up. Get back up right now, up!" 6:28 - 8:36 : "Valentin, please, slide towards the cage. Are you ok? Breathe. Don't worry, stay there, chill. Now what I would like is for you to get back up. That's nothing at all, we don't give a F. He's the one bleeding. No worries. Ok, your brow bone is cut open, that's nothing. Valentin, protect yourself please. I need you to get back up, ok? Valentin. Stay calm. He can't do anything from here. Are you ok? Look at me, are you ok? Alright, push him now, and get on your feet. Push! Valentin, please, you can't stay here." - "I can't." - What can't you do?" - "[inaudible]" - "With your right hand, try and esgrime(?) his arm. Esgrime(?) his arm!! Valentin please." - "I can't." - "Valentin you're not listening to me. You're getting kicked in the ribs. Now you absolutely need to get back up. Lay your head down, he's going to punch it. No, let him go, push him! Push him now! You need to let go, push him and get up. Please, Valentin. You're getting kicked in the ribs you need to get up. Get up please." - "I don't have the strength" - "Wdym you don't have the strength? You can't tell me that to me!!! Come on. We've work for this. Chill. He's recovering, you can't let him. Now I'd like you to knock him over. Knock him over! Watch out for headbutts. Put your arm in front of your head. Valentin, you absolutely need to get up." 9:05 - 9:54 : "Valentin, now stand up. Extremely well handled with the French Viking's friend who started to interact too much with the fight, the friends of the fighters are often very good friends, and it can be hard to control themselves when they see their buddy getting smashed, good to see staff/spectators were letting him know how KOTS do things. @Walid Hamieh Sure, this on a street, but it's not a real street fight. They still have refs, he stood them up, they have a ring, etc.
Ce genre d'entraîneur te fait juste perdre ton focus et ta concentration sur ton adversaire...bravo au Viking 🇷🇸👊🇲🇫

If the American fighter didn't have to give up the mount the fight could have ended differently. Of course it is boring if nothing is happening, but just sitting heavy on somebody wears him out a lot. Nice fight though with a lot of respect from both fighters.

Yes, with proper technique mount is extremely good position. This is the first time I have seen anyone giving up on mount in MMA.

If some of these fighters learned where pressure points were , they could use them to their advantage when wrestling. An elbow pressed into the side of the leg or the front of the shoulder is really painful, and could cause a dead arm or leg.

I am the guy in the video from long island NY.. ERIC . so just to clear a few things up yes I am the only American... for everybody asking why I gave up the mount n " didn't do anything" I took this phone on 72 hours now this and I haven't been training any MMA for past year .. I was sitting in my bed with ice packs on my body because I had actually done my first session of MMA back in gym the day. receding eating a pizza watching blackness when king of the streets said Viking oppoents pulled out. it was Tuesday. fight Saturday. I agreed . I was too tired from all the wrestling once I got him down I head-butted his whole face open.. when I was on top of him I had no energy left him in slane him I was simply trying to post upwithin another minute I would have. I'm not 38 . I'm 39. a good majority of my fighting career has been at 84 kg 185 lbs .I was fat n tired here. I did the best I could but when you have somebody that young and athletic in that strong locked around ur neck it's difficult to explode up. when you see me speaking to him on the ground... I was asking him if you wanted to call the fight a draw ... since we were speaking I wasn't going to cheap shot him and headbutt him. you allowed to bite n eye gouge n do anything. but BEFORE the fight viking came up... we were very polite to each other and he was very nice he even said he followed my bare-knuckle boxing carrier in England... during the fight he hit me with a low which is totally ok .. he said sorry to me ..so I said it's ok bro n I did not aim for one back . I did not bite his nose off or Gouge eyes because when he had the opportunity to do it to me he did not. he was kool before during n after n I consider him a friend. I did my best on 3 days notice. I would rather have lost this fight how I did then win by being cheap .I fight again on NEXT kots card if my opponent is kool I'll be kool back if he's not I'll not be ..I love kots. they treated me very well and I consider the owners my friends. for anybody saying anything negative about me or French Viking on comments. 🤣🤣🤣 come say it to us in person. or it does not count. see everyone on the cement soon.
