The story about protecting the kid rings true to me. When I was in elementary school 3 rd grade I was a wimpy kid. This was at the time of segregating the schools in the south. First time for most of us to be around someone of another race. Anyway I had a big kid bullying me all of the time. This older African American kid saw this happen and didn't like it. He came over and got the bully off of me . He then put his arm around me and told me not to worry because if that kid ever bothered me again that he would take care of him. The bully never bothered me again. At this time I could not figure out what all these people were doing trying to keep us segregated. This experience has been a factor in my treatment of other people all my life. We are all of the human race. Two things , always keep it real and treat others as you wish to be treated. Thanks for telling your.

hope everyone that comes across as interview has the wisdom to drop all stereotypes and bring an open mind to hear and learn. I listened to Unique as he was schooling this young suburbanite and no disrespect to him. This man is sharing truth, real history and reveals the life source that's kept him and so many others alive. Plus a whole different perspective that is of a woven fabric say from a different country different era and almost three decades of prison, as the art of being a master chess boxer applied to his every move he makes and has made fighting and hustling. Our surroundings are misinformed mislead a d have been desensitized and dumbed down. Some of life's consequences enable us equipps us and strengthen us to defend and or take what is ours. With weakness and vulnerability those are lose lose. Respect honor and success is not any of those unless they are demanded and held on to and showed with strength. This man shares his mental strength.I don't see it as him being braggadocios, he took losses. He not just looked forward he moved forward. May we all move forward carrying a new level of understanding and clarity that is offered here. I am 53 from Midwest/Chicagoland that grew up in mid eighties and was fortunate to have been placed with elders who shared with me ALOT of similar examples and lessons. And.... this was brought to my remembrance, my father also taught me don't start none and don't take none and when you fight fight what is not standing in front of you fighting you but fight while taking in all that surrounds you both fighting making your opponent smaller and easier to beat.(Thanks again Dad.
