It is astonishing how much of a disparity exists between having a competent paid attorney and relying on a public defender. Approximately nine years ago, I was arrested for possession of Xanax with roughly 100 pills in my possession. Consequently, I served 30 days in jail and was subjected to one year of probation. Subsequently, once my probationary period concluded, I was arrested again for Xanax possession, but this time with 150 pills in my possession. However, with the assistance of a paid attorney, who appeared before the same judge as before, I was only charged court fees and a fine, and was incarcerated for a mere two days since it happened to be a weekend. This case was promptly resolved with no additional obligations

The Public Pretender was telling my brother's friend he was going to get 8-10, he said F that. He hired a real attorney and ended up with 36 Months.
