Not 20,000. In 2015, the arena's capacity was 9,700 seated and room for 1,800 standing, so nom where near 20,000. It will have an added 1,700 seats next year. So, where did you get your information from?

@@johndennison3140 No, simple error. I have short, stubby fingers and only type with middle and index fingers, so I completely understand, empathise and sympathise. I am slow and have to be careful. Aurora is captivating whether it is before a large audience or she is just posting on Tik Tok when she is by herself in her apartment. Just a multi talented individual.

@@JohnHF1957There were "only" ~8000 in the venue according to a Norwegian article from that day (Dec 11th 2015), but that is still A LOT of people to perform in front (with just an acoustic guitar and your voice), and milions watching on TV: "Det kommer til å være 8000 tilskuere på plass på Fornebu, og konserten kan potensielt bli sett av 350 millioner TV-seere. I tillegg er den tilgjengelig på KZbin." (There will be 8000 spectators on site in "Fornebu" (suburb outside Oslo), and the concert can potentially be seen by 350 million TV viewers. In addition it is available on KZbin.)

In over 55 years of ardently following contemporary music, I have never seen a performer as captivating as Aurora. She is the same, regardless of the audience size and even when she posts on Tik Tok, performing alone from her apartment, she is mesmerising. This is a good start and there is so much more for you to enjoy. As well as all the fantastic live performances, there are the interviews, which highlight Aurora's amazing, quirky personality.

Aurora literally lives the songs she sings and writes, embodying the music and lyrics... want to be totally mesmerized then check out any and all songs she did at the Nidarosdomen ancient Cathedral in Norway at 19, with her band, full orchestra, choir and unbelievable production and filming....one of the best concerts ever produced from 2017....every single moment of that concert is simply mind blowing great, an Ethereal experience that will forever change you. Hope you can check it out. Aurora the other Norwegian treasure along with Angelina Jordan. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Great reaction man!! You get it!! But could we talk about.. That the magical in singing begins with 5,4,3,2,1... that´s freaking numbers for god sake. Could we talk about that the boldness in this lady have that singing about singing a murder song on the nobel peace pize concert. This is like the most important concert of the year.... Could we talk about that she is singing bare foot and dancing on her tippy toes on the NPPC. should i countinuing ? The Queen of unpredictability. See ya in the next reaction of our beloved AURORA

Great reaction to who is to me, the best artist ever. She is the total package as you mentioned, her songs are her children (her words) and you can tell in her performance that she pours all of her emotions back into the song in her performances, she really lives the song which makes her the best storyteller. Watching her perform live is like watching art come to life, she is magic. She has always gone barefoot and since she is 10 years older than Angelina, she has been doing it much longer, Aurora likes it because it makes her feel more grounded to the earth, she is a earth crusader, which is very apparent in her MV and song The Seed.

Aurora emotes like no other human on the planet. She is an inpath, the opposite of an empath. She sends and shares her emotion and feeling so well it is mostly overwhelming for empaths like myself. I love her dearly.

Hello, great reaction again. Thank you. AURORA often appears barefoot. But she doesn't have the same reason as Angelina. She is also from Norway. But that's no reason. I think she feels freer and more comfortable. Some musicians do it to feel the music better. In the Nidarosdomen Cathedral she sings in socks. AURORA's songs always have a strong message. Often the messages are not very clear either. They can be interpreted so that many people can relate them to themselves. Her movements when singing are extraordinary. This isn't a dance. This is her special way of expression. You can also say that she sings with her whole body. Her excellent music, her brilliant voice and her movements. AURORA's live performances are a total work of art. She is often so into the song that she shakes her body or head uncontrollably (--> Murder song, It happened quiet) and need 2-3 seconds to come back. ----------------------------------------- This is probably the saddest love song I've ever heard. A man shoots his wife to end her suffering. Can love be bigger and more painful at the same time than in this story? AURORA manages to make this pain palpable with her voice and her movements. You have seen AURORA's eyes. She wasn't on stage. She was somewhere else. You saw how deeply she was thinking about these two people, that she sometimes shook herself uncontrollably. I believe that she is not conscious of her movements. She's so into the story in her head that she's doing the moves in the story. I heard that AURORA was horrified by these movements when she saw the recording of the performance. That means for me that she did it unconsciously. Her empathy must be beyond measure. She spreads all her feelings that she has in this moment in front of us and lets us look into her heart and soul. There is no other way I can explain that almost everyone who saw this performance was affected by this story. AURORA is more than a storyteller, more than a singer. AURORA is a true artist. This is from an interview with Aurora: "First of all, I have a really vivid imagination. You know that these things may be happening to someone right now. It's kind of a terrifying thought. I just had to get that thought out of my head - and that's why I wrote this song. But the two characters are actually just made up in my head. I've written many songs about them - maybe I'll make a book with them." And in another interview: It’s just fascinating that some people can have in them the desire to kill while some people cannot pick a flower without feeling bad. That's about this I wrote 'Murder Song'. How can a man kill someone he loves and it happens often in the world. But he doesn't really understand what he did, it's a very complicated story. Her, she didn't want to be in this world anymore, and she knew that this man would do anything for her. She asks him to kill her and he said: 'Ok, I love you, I would do anything for you.' After he killed her, he became sad because she didn't move anymore and he didn't understand where she went. He didn't understand why she left and he start crying. And it is sad, because for the rest of his life, he will not understand and he will be sad." ---------------------------------------- AURORA doesn't care what the audience thinks about her. And that is exactly what makes her free as an artist. She does it her way because she likes it. This freedom to do what she wants and not what she thinks the audience wants is what pulls off this masterpiece. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJWxoniohLp6a6c - 28.06.2019 People often ask me how it is to be me. Which I find to be a very odd question. But then I sit down and I think about it. And I think the biggest difference between me and many people I meet is that I'm extremely free. I've never really cared about what people think what is right or to do what's wrong to do because I don't see any reason to stop myself from fulfilling my impulsive thoughts or doing whatever I want to do. And it's quite a good life when you're free and it's kind of weird because it's this in invisible force stopping people from following their instincts and from doing what they want. ---------------------------------- - Through The Eyes Of a Child (Live at Nidarosdomen) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJSqaq2Kr9icqac - she sang in norway's biggest cathedral - phenomenal acoustics - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4aQf2mCpt-Xf68 - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these great harmonies - Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k - the song is her way of suicide prevention - The Seed (Official Video - VEVO) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX7GkIKDatSBd5o - it's about the climat change, AURORAS “Earth Song” Have a nice day and Greetings from Germany

Liked and subscribed. If you choose to go down the AURORA rabbit hole, you are in for an incredible journey. May I suggest anything from the Nidarosdomen Cathedral concert (live), or pretty much anything else. Her official videos are wonderful, but she is so much better live. She's never had a music or singing lesson, yet she writes, performs and produces all of her music. A true genius. Enjoy your ride. All the best to you.

Great reaction🤗 Everything about Aurora draws you in, and imo she’s the best storyteller ever😍 Aurora has said that life is better without shoes. She likes to feel grounded, and she often stands on her tipi toes 🥰 In an interview she said: “Her, she didn't want to be in this world anymore, and she knew that this man would do anything for her. Fantastic reaction! You're right that she's so captivating, she just draws you in, and you can't take your eyes off her. And you're also right that she's the real deal. You could put all her performances on a wall, and throw darts at them, and you couldn't go wrong, no matter which one you hit. Of course, some are better than others. Anything from the Nidarosdomen concert is absolutely top notch in every way.

I’ve seen this many times, an intense song but nonetheless beautiful. Since I first heard it I’ve had a couple thoughts. I’ve not heard the story from her so, I’m not really sure. But the 54321 seems to imply a foreknowledge of what was about to happen. He holding her in his arms, not constraining. And she closes her eyes before the countdown ends, an acceptance, a resignation, a plan undertaken by the two. He didn’t mean to do her harm. He wanted to save her from the terrible things in this world, sounds to me she wanted help to leave this world and he understood that, her pain, but he cared more to help her than his own pain from what would come from helping her. I think she came to him, for help, and to not go out alone. Just thoughts. Hey, I’ll try to,look up your podcast, that sounds interesting. Okay, hope you have a great night!

Agreed to everything you're saying about her. Heads-up: her voice has changed over the years. It has lost all the younger colors and now sounds more ... adult (and I'm not talking technique). It doesn't make her any less awesome but I find it interesting. My suggestion is to stick to the live performances (which is not to say her music videos are bad... she just literally outperformances them). I always struggle to suggest specific ones because there are plenty breath-taking ones. However, the following two are absolute must listens (at some point in life that is) AURORA - Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d563mqSIZ8SJd9k Aurora - Through The Eyes Of A Child (Live) - Stripped (Vevo UK LIFT) kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXfddquLg5aBbqs

She is very special. She is best live as she sings in the moment. Often you see her come back into our world as the song ends (as in this one). Some, she is "in" her audience. As to interpretation, she rarely tells us, we are supposed to make our own. However, in this case she has referenced hearing about a mercy killing. He masterpiece concert is at Nidarosdomen.

My interpretation is that a father or husband just killed their daughter or wife as she has a terminal cancer and they are saving her from what is to come.
