Lithium is good for high current drain and deeper discharges while holding good voltage levels for the majority of its discharge cycle. Lead acid seems to not like higher currents and voltage will drop off fairly quickly, triggering the low voltage on the inverter. I would never go back to lead acid.

Good job mate, I think the Kings batteries and inverters are good value for the price. The Aussie Arvo’s lads had a black top they tested a year ago and they were pulling up to 170A for 5 or 10 mins no problems.

Kings might be learning people will still look for quality and cheap only goes so far. Impressed with the 3000 inverter, longevity will interesting..

lol… they’ve been running quality for years. Just depends what you buy. If it looks shit - it is.

I want to run 2 x 120s with 3000w inverter and dcdc all kings gear. Thoughts based on your exlerience, will this kit give you confidence in remote areas with no back up for fridges etc? The same gear with other brands is $3k upward. So if it fits the bill im going to run it!
@WEEKENDER4X46 ай бұрын
It definitely would run the 3000w inverter but I'd just go the one 300ah personally would do it fine, decent heavy guage cable 50mm preferably

I thought it was 120 max current continuous? Made me think i could only use a max of 1500w inverter?

Hi mate. Thanks for the video. Is that 35mm2 welding cable you are using there? Ive seen orange cable in a few prebuilt sysyems. I was pricing cable recently is it just finer stands if that's what it is?
@WEEKENDER4X44 ай бұрын
It's proper welding cable 35mm2 and it's not tinned copper like the cheaper stuff

Kings batteries seem ok. How’s the renogy inverter?
@WEEKENDER4X46 ай бұрын
Renogy inverter definitely runs quieter than the kings one I have, but it hasn't skipped a beat

@@WEEKENDER4X4 I’m down to redarc or renogy don’t know if I can trust a kings invertor because if it fails I ain’t getting coffee and that’s a deal breaker

@conellisgreatadventure8864 if you don't mind the fans running a lot the kings one is fine. Mines been running for 6 months straight. The renogy ones I have had for rhe past 3 years nearly and all are quieter and have no issues

@@WEEKENDER4X4 awesome thanks mate. appreciate the content with kings gear. i know a lot of people hate on it but like you i have mostly good things to say about it. setting up my own semi off grid solar setup similar to yours. already have one setup for my work gear and it performs flawlessly.
