Chopping the top of the bracket is brilliant. It makes it easy to mount.

So easy, then I reinforced it with the other metal bracket. Took it today into the inner city car park and all is good!

I could just imagine that fully open and attached to my roof, parked up in the mountains during high winds...it would turn into a kite 🪁 and my X5 would be sent into orbit like a helicopter 🚁! 😂
