Didn’t see but 3 caught this past week but the storm was blowing through. Now we did see over 50 Spanish hit the deck one day.

For king fish you need to have a strong leader. Number 3 , number 5 , and number 7 lead wire and between 12 to 18 inches of lead line between the swivel and the hook . Live bait is best and metal spoons , lure and plugs work well. Live bait is always best , cigs , blue runner and Threadfin. I would advise not to use to much weight with live bait.

im coming to fish the pier next week july 28 - 30, looking to catch spanish , any tips about what is working best right now. wouldn't mind catching pomps, but i know its not really the time.

Bubble rig with a Gotcha lure or spoon. I think Pompanos are gone.
