Would you believe Elvis had a vast record collection, which included Gospel, R & B, Rock and Roll, and Opera . However, he never listened to his own recordings. He loved to sing and entertain, and as unbelievably great as he was, he was humble. Once at a concert, a group of girls held up a sign saying The King. Elvis responded saying, "There's only one King, and that's Jesus "

He didn’t write any songs, but he was known for interpreting songs. He is the one that set the way they were sang down to every note, emphasis, phrasing, etc, and his moves you can see directs them just as he did during practice. The band and singers are glued to him for that very reason.

I wanted to comment on your reaction. Aloha from Hawaii was brilliant. His Las Vegas concerts were brilliant as well. I wanted you to react to a real early Elvis. You reacted to jail house rock, but you didn’t react to jail house rock the movie there’s a tremendous difference. Also, I highly suggest you react to bossa nova baby it’s from the film fun in Acapulco however … They have a remix of it on KZbin same song, same music but you get more of an Elvis visual meeting his dancing. I don’t think you really experienced that until you do then you don’t know where it all began. You need that visual God bless you take care.

I have to say, that was one of the best reactions I've ever seen on Elvis and YGMAM. I couldn't have said it any better. You get him. You can't take your eyes off of him. The world just fades away and you're in the moment experiencing him and his music. And in just a few minutes, you discover you're smiling and you smile all the way through. I've heard so many stories from people who said they didn't even like Elvis or his music... and then they went to an Elvis concert and came out huge fans. That's speaks volumes Whether you're just listening to his music or watching him perform, I can't do it without smiling. He got me through many hard times in my life. He not only put a smile on my face but he put one in my heart. ❤ Thank you for your reaction.

You're correct. Everything about Elvis spoke music & it spoke volumes. That's because music spoke to Elvis & whatever it "said" to him he wanted to convey because he loved it & it energized him. Whenever he hit the stage, he projected that collective energy to his adoring fans who felt it, internalized it & projected it right back at him, re-energizeing him of course . It was that never ending cycle of shared energy between Elvis & his fans that drew us to him then, now & forever. His fans will feel his pulse forever.

The first Elvis performances I ever saw were in the documentary film 'That's the Way It Is' back in the early 1970s and I immediately felt the same as you that music runs through his veins. He can't help but move and is in complete command of the backing band/singers. He brought (and obviously is still bringing!) such joy to the world. Elvis forever ❤

Joe the director of the orchestra was asked; how did it feel rehearsing with Elvis after his first time. He answered; “man it’s like chasing a marble down the stairs“. (they ended up being a great fit...) Elvis liked to have fun, when he was told, he arranged to have a lot of marbles put in his dressing room? So that when he opened the door they came rolling out.

Another sincere reaction to Elvis in his element, performing a power ballad to the audience of a lifetime around the world!! The 6000 people in his live audience were asked to make a donation to the Kiu Lee Cancer fund for their ticket. They expected to raise $25,000 but actually raised $75,000( nearly half a million in today’s money!!) Even Elvis bought a ticket for $1,000!! I don’t know if my comment went through you reacted to Elvis jailhouse rock but you reacted to the 1968 special. Going to jail house rock from the movie, jail house rock you need to watch that also look for the remix of bossa nova baby from the movie fun in Acapulco the remix is a little bit longer and I think you would appreciate seeing that aspect of Elvis. You haven’t seen that yet. Also Dixieland rock from the movie King Creole amazing or even the Song, King Creole from the movie King Creole. Just dive a little bit back into the past and you could so much more appreciate the future of his career. God bless you.
