I do not know how this boy from Tupelo, not only is he gorgeous and sing with that power, but he has control of the whole band and backup singers.. He arranges everything to perfection.. no one has this gift, like he does.. they never will... there is only one and though we had him for a short time, he lives forever in our hearts and thank God we can relive these moments with him..

Very true, 1968 and 70 I think were his best years, his looks and voice were out of this world then. You said then, I think now and forever, the man was an adonis then and the voice ❤

These videos are great and keeping awareness of a Elvis alive, but being at his actual live performance WAS the greatest! At the Smithsonian: "Elvis Presley, the greatest entertainer of the 20th Century".

Elvis nailed that first chorus beyond belief. I have listened to hundreds of bootleg concerts and never heard him do it even half that well in any other show. It is too bad that he started losing that fire inside after this Aloha concert.

Thank you for remembering the most versatile and greatest performer that ever walked the earth that God gifted. No wonder he still has more fan clubs in the world then anyone else, living or dead. Love you, love Elvis.

You are absolutly right! This was autobiographic. A few months before this concert, his wife left him and took his beloved daughter with her. That was his mountain, and he didn't climb it anymore. This great concert was the beginning of the end. I guess we all have a mountain to climb in our life. I hope that you can climb yours! 🙏

Priscilla left Elvis in February 1972 . This concert is January 14th 1973. But no matter when she left its still very sad for Elvis.

Elvis was a master of his craft. He demanded to be great and he was. As great as he became, he never forgot his humble beginnings and gave back to others in gifts and charity to great causes. My grandmother told me he was once kicked off a talent contest because they said he had no talent! True story.

Brian not only is it is oppressive it is beautiful that there were two shows August 12th 1973 was the rehearsal version August 14th 1973 was the biggest satellite version that went out to 1.5 billion people the rehearsal version on August 12th it's even better on what now my love he hits his last three four notes out of the ballpark more so than he did on the live show if you get a chance if you can't Google the rehearsal version of what now my love you'll see the difference August 12th 1973 is Harris County different count forward and the live show have his hair combed back he doesn't have flowers around his neck and the rehearsal version he does in the live performance AKA Elvis Junkie

Hi Lisa. Your Right Elvis Never Sounded Better. The Whole Concert was Outstanding. His Jumpsuit the AMERICAN EAGLE. Was Designed By Bill Belew. He Made all of His Suits. This song was Written By Marty Robbins. Great Country Singer. I Remember Marty Saying in ah Show. I Know Elvis Sang it Better. But It’s My Song. And He Just Smiled and Sang the Song. Back Than there were No Autotunes Like Today. That makes Everyone sound Great. No. That was ELVIS. As Himself. Thanks.
