I'm glad to see this video. I was in the audience at Atlantic Union when they sang this number. Pastor Melashenko was taking over from HMS Richards, Jr., as director of VoP. I was seeing the quartet for the first time after listening to them for 2 decades on radio and tapes. I took photos with each one of them which I value very much now that some of these men of God are no more.

Had the priviledge of seeing them at SNEC Camp Meeting. A real blessing to the Lord. Wayne Hooper (2nd from right, bass singer) died earlier this year.

they are The King's Heralds original members.... if you'll see young ones then they are new members/recruits.

Not quite, but they were the Heralds during the sixties. The Heralds originated as the LONE STAR FOUR in 1927, then came on board with H.M.S.Richards and VOP about 1935. The name was changed to The King's Heralds then.. Thurber was with them about 61 to 67, and Bob Edwards from about 1947 until the seventies.
