How can people say this is the most skilled era when there is a ton of atrocious defense? The effort by players is not there. Players are lazy and coaching is inept. In so many games players are jogging half speed. Don't tell me it's better offense. Everyone standing at the 3 pt line while illegal screen after illegal screen is set to hunt a matchup is not the most skilled basketball of all time. All the scoring/stats are super inflated because defense is so bad. And when players are allowed to travel and carry the ball+bad defense?

Kings' defense failed miserably here against this severely crippled (by Zion's injury) Pelicans' team! There was clearly a lot of miscommunication (or none at all) about individual defensive roles among Sacramento's players during this game! What happened to this team during those two days between the two games? What did/didn't you do Mike?!
