King of the World is the spookiest song ever. And Kings is a great song about inequality of wealth and power. Reminders of how great the Dan's story telling is, often overlooked in the shadow of the music.

So grateful for these live performances of my favorite music in the whole wide world. "Kings" was the 2nd song from their first album "Can't Buy a Thrill" to feature the lead guitar of Elliott Randall, the other being "Reelin' In the Years." And "King of the World" from their 2nd album "Countdown To Ecstasy" is an example of guitarists Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and Denny Dias at their very best. Got to see them play KOTW live way, way back in April 1974. We had good seats then, but not this good. Watching you guys play this music up close is such a treat.
