Ohio State's march toward a national championship in 2024 will include three key tests: road trips to Oregon and Penn State, and a home date with Michigan to end the regular season.

Keys to UM winning: not blitzing and being able sit in a zone because they can stop the run with 4. The offense being consistent and staying on the field (converting 3rd and medium). This is where UM is vulnerable: UM lacks a proven/consistent QB. Top returning RB is also inconsistent (as this guy said). Very hot or cold. Big runs or 3 and out.

Coaching Bill. OSU, once again, has more raw physical talent but coaching is the greatest difference-maker in sports. Michigan has been better coached than OSU the past 3 years-we will see if it continues. Otherwise, this is a "we will see" season from a variety of angles for the fans and outsiders. Chances are that "inside the room" there are not that many questions.

I actually think offensive line will be much better in run blocking for penn st than last year but worse in pass blocking. Wrs and allar should improve some with better play calling. D will be close to as good as last season as well. Be interesting year psu should win 10 to 11 games.

Oregon doesn’t really have a weakness. When you recruit top ten classes every year and bring in the best transfer portal players where you lose players to nfl/graduation, you’re not really going to have a weak point.

Coming from an Oregon fan we don’t really have any weaknesses if you go player by player, but a problem that we have is that a lot of these players that we have haven’t played together and we just brought them in through the transfer portal so we might be lacking a little bit of team chemistry. Who knows if we’ll have it sorted by the time we play Ohio

I would say obnoxious duck fans ....are obnoxious. Just like every other fanbase. Regular Oregon, college football loving fans , are like everyone else's. Friendly, engaging, mostly knowledgeable, and happy to meet other fanbases. Opposing fans being invited into talegates is very much the norm. Ignore the trolls ...... unless they're Husky fans. They're insufferable......😜

Oregon's - 2 loses to W were somewhat telling in my view -- as W was ''manhandled'' by M ! Seemingly indicating a "sizable gap'' in my view - given - OSU took M to the very end - in the Big House (!) - much closer than W could do on a neutral field ? --?-- 🤔 Both teams should be better and improved - giving OSU a bit of an edge - from my perspective. We shall see - but that is how I see it.

Can’t do transitive property to measure different teams. It doesn’t work that way. Washington also “manhandled” Texas who is also picked as a contender. Oregons weakness last year (secondary) was Washington’s greatest strength (receiver) and has been greatly overhauled with 3 transfer portal additions. Can’t compare teams year to year.
