Kings of Kebab: Mangal II

In our inaugural episode of Kings of Kebab, we visit Mangal 2 in East London. The Dalston kebab shop is as famous for its outspoken Twitter account and celebrity customers (Gilbert and George are regulars) as its authentic Turkish-style, flame-grilled meats.

its nice to see that a Turkish person has this much success as an immigrant. But its just saddening to hear that being ashamed of being Turkish was an important point for this individual to talk about in a global platform. I am Turkish, I live in the US and I am proud to be a Turkish. Its just saddening how people can make people feel ashamed of their roots. Proud of Mangal II, keep up the good work.
