This is an absolutely great cover by KOL, also Calebs vocals is stellar on this song, but at the same time, Frank Black's vocals are just as stellar. It has that "loose cannon feel" to it when Frank sings it. After all, it's his song. It's his trademark vocals we all got to love when ever we hear this song, which is the reason this is such a great song. EPIC.

Self developed bands are rare to come by today. Another example is Pearl Jam. Like KOL they don't give a shit about what other people wan't them to do. These two bands inspires me, and I love that they both create their own music, but still pays tribute to other bands and musicians who means something to them

Oh, apparently if a band has two songs that are huge, they are sell-outs. C'mon that's such bullshit. It's not like they put down their guitars and picked up synthesizers and MacBooks. It's still rock and roll. It's less aggressive rock and roll, but it's still great. And I might get alot of hate for this but I think their old stuff is inferior to their newer content. They've matured and grown over the years, but apparently some of their fans are having a hard time doing the same.

I am a longtime KOL fan I found them when I was living in London in 04.And the fact is that they DID set out to make a mainstream album with only by the night and have said so numerous times .It is not a bad thing to want people to like what your doing,Having said this I Love earlier shit more than newer stuff but even the newer shit slay's the competion

Fact: In YAYM their music has that sound because they didn't know to play the instruments,they were just starting. It's still good music, because they have talent.
