Neat and handy. I'd put a fuse close to the battery in case you get a short.. Don't want to melt your cables.

do i need to wire the solar regulator directly to my battery or can i plug it into the anderson plugs that are on top of the kings battery boxes? cheers

Great video mate. What amps do You get out of your 160wat solar panel. Mine is connected to my dcdc charger and I only get low voltage most of the time. Wondering if I could add the mmpt between the panel and the dcdc charger to help. Thx again mate🍻🍻

So I have the 25A DC to Dc connected to a 100A/H Lithium battery & plug my 250w solar blanket when camping. My solar panel on the roof is connected to the 20A MTTP control to a 30A/H Lithium battery. You can't have it before the DC to DC or have it separately connected, only one or the other. The DC to DC switches between solar & the car. Haven't checked what the output is from the panel.

From the home screen, press the set button. Then hold battery button. Press set to jump in to battery capacity. Use the + - buttons to set the capacity. Then press set again to confirm.

I like the way you didn’t permanently mount the larger battery, go idea for keeping the fridge out of the car at camp and all you need is an extension cable to keep battery charged. Great job Victor.

I'm want the car to be versatile. Same with the solar set-up. When needing more power, I can use a second solar blanket to set up at camp & will eventually put a DC to DC set up. So I can change if the sun isn't out when exploring with the car.

It's working well, can't fault it. I have the 25A DC to DC buy king that I use a 250w Solar blanket on it & that keeps my other battery fully charged when the car park in the garage.
